CHAPTER THIRTEEN

"You are slowly turning into a vampire, love" Taeyong said as he took a bite of his toast while Johnny helped Ten off the floor

"So, what exactly happen to me when Ten bit me that night? Did I die?!" Haneul said as she took a seat since she was already too stressed from everything that has happen in such a short amount of time

Nothing really surprises her now.

"Normally when a vampire Claims another vampire as their mate, their mate usually would mark back" Jungwoo started to explain

"But since you're human, you had to die in order to turn into a vampire, thus letting you mark your mate back, and Somewhat complete the mating process" Yuta finished

"But lucky for you, you are still a fledgling which means you're are not fully a vampire until you are forced to drink blood" Lucas said

"Forced?" Haneul said as she didn't really like the idea of drinking another human's blood

"You have a small amount of time to stay human until The process of becoming a vampire starts to increase, and if you don't drink blood" Ten explained

"Your body will slowly start to dying" Taeyong finished as he stood up from the dining table and leaned his face closer to Haneul's

"Let's see how long you actually last" Taeyong said grinning and walking away from the dinning room while letting out a few chuckles

"Assuming that you already have your strength, it won't be long until your other senses start to heighten. it's correct to say that she doesn't have much time left" Jaehyun said

Haneul groaned and slumped into her chair, feeling really tired of all these things hitting her at once.

Finding out she was claimed by a vampire, accidentally joining a vampire coven, and finding out that she was slowly turning into a vampire; it was all too much for her, and she just wanted everything to be back to normal.

"What time is it?" Haneul asked with a tired tone

"10:00 am" Ten said as he checked his watch

Haneul stood up and started to walk out of the dinning room.

"Where are you going?" Ten asked as he speeded over to her, stoping her from walking any further

"It's Monday, where else would I go other than school?" Haneul deadpanned

"I think it's best for you to start going to night classes, You're still in the process of turning, so it'll be easy for you to loose control, and it's best if we are with you," Ten said with a hint of worry in his tone

Ten really didn't want her to be away from him because he won't be able to go to his day classes today since he used up all his energy last night and will be to weak to even go to his Night classes.

"I just want to spend as much time being Normal before I turn and I won't be alone, Winwin is going to be with me" Haneul said giving him a reassuring smile

"Also, I'll need you to speed me over to my dorm because I can't walk out out of the night classes dormitory with your clothes on without people thinking I did something with you" Haneul said chuckling

Ten laughed a little as he grabbed her by the waist and in the matter of seconds, they were standing in her dorm.

Luckily, Haneul's roomate wasn't in the room since she was most likely in class.

"Before I go, I'll need your phone" Ten said

"Why?" Haneul said as she tried to find her phone in her bed since it would always get lost in her covers

"So that I can put my phone number in, if anything were to happen, you'll have a way to contact me" Ten said as he seen that Haneul started to look slight panicked as she rummaged through her belongings trying to find her phone

"That's wierd, I had it last night" Haneul said

Haneul couldn't find her phone and soon realized that she had dropped it in the woods when she was running.

And soon, memories of last night came flooding back.

Memories of jimin cheating on her.

As she had her back turned to Ten, Haneul stood still, feeling overwhelmed with emotions, and was trying to grasp what actually happened that night.

The feeling of pain and hurt came back and she felt as if her heart was ripped out of her chest.

Ten sensed this and he grew worried, turning her around and putting his hands on both her shoulders, trying to snap her out of daze.

Since they were mates, Ten felt everything Haneul felt, and Haneul felt everything Ten felt.

"Haneul, what happened before I found you in the woods?" Ten said as Haneul didn't look at him and kept starring into space.

"Nothing" Haneul said as she tried to cover up the fact that was she about to have a mental breakdown right then and there

"Haneul, you were crying when I seen you, you were running before I ran after you; What were you running away from?" Ten said as she looked up at him with tears in her eyes

"Yesterday, it was mine and my boyfriend's 3 year anniversary. He had forgotten and I decided to surprise him" Haneul said as Ten whipped away her tears and she started hesitating whether or not she should tell him everything

Haneul didn't want Ten to see her like this, she was never this vulnerable infront of anyone, not even with Sicheng and Jimin.

"I caught him cheating" Haneul said as she chocked back a sob and lowered her head down, not trying to have Ten look at her like this

Ten pulled her into a tight hug and Let her cry, knowing that if she held these emotions in, the more damage they would do to her.

He felt angry, he felt like making her ex pay for what he did, for making his mate cry like this.

But he restrained himself, because he didn't want Haneul to see that side of him.

A side that he hoped Haneul would never see.
