"Haneul, wake up" Haneul's eyes opened slowly, the smell of hospital and a beeping noise being the first to greet her
She seen Ten hovering over her as she groaned and tried to sit up, But was too weak to even raised her head.
"What happened?" Haneul asked all groggily as she rubbed her eyes
"You passed out" When Ten said that, she looked around and noticed that she was on a hospital bed, hooked up to a some machine, and was wearing a hospital gown
"How long have I been asleep?" Haneul said as she raised her hand up, Ten helping her sit up
"You've been a knocked out for 2 days" Ten said as Haneul's eyes widened in disbelief
Taking notice at how tired Ten looked, his eyes were a little swollen and he looked like he had been crying and the bags under his eyes made her guess that he hadn't slept these past 2 days that she was knocked out.
Going to question whether or not he had any rest or was okay, she didn't have the chance to as the doctor walked into the room, bowing to both of them as he had a stoic expression while looking at his clipboard.
"Hello Ms. Kang, I see that you finally woke up, How are you feeling?" He asked as he stood at the foot of her bed
"I'm okay, just feeling a little weak, that's all" Haneul answered as he nodded and flipped through some papers before he laid his metal clipboard on his lap and cleared his throat before speaking
"Doctor? Why was I asleep for two day? Is something wrong with me?" Haneul asked, worry in her tone as Ten grabbed her hand softly, making her a little more calmer
"No, on the contrary you are very healthy, but Ms. Kang, you are aware of the fact that you're pregnant, right?" The doctor said as Haneul sat there looking at him, not one expression on her face, she was just looking at him
Haneul has no words, she stopped breathing for a second as she let go of Ten's hand, letting her hand drop to her side, turning her head up to Ten, who also didn't have much of a reaction to it.
"N-no, I wasn't aware of it" Haneul answered lowly as she stuttered, the doctor nodded understandably
"You are in the very early stage of pregnancy, but usually for Vampires, the fetus is grows in a rapid pace, which is caused by the excessive nutrients and energy that the baby takes from the mother" The doctor explained
"Most vampires can provide the nutrients and energy that the fetus needs, but since you are a vampire that strictly relies on blood to survive, it makes the pregnancy high risk..."
"When was the last time you consumed blood?" The doctor asked
"About 3 weeks ago" Haneul answered
"When a vampire that needs blood to live, it means their baby will need it too, and if you can't supply it with enough of it, it will start to take your blood instead, but since you're a vampire, it'll reject it, causing you to start hemorrhaging. This is most likely what caused you to pass out and bleed" The doctor said as Haneul nodded and she glanced up at Ten, who just wrapped his arm around her shoulder, rubbing her arm in a comforting way
She knew he was in more shock than her, it was evident in his eyes the concern he had, she felt bad for putting him so much stress.
"So, this means I'll have to start drinking blood more frequently now?" Haneul questioned and the Doctor nodding
"During the duration of your pregnancy, you'll get cramps and will have some spotting, when this happens, I advise you to start doubling up on the amount of the blood you consume, the baby will get bigger as the time passes and that means it'll need even more of it" The doctor said as he bowed at them
"I'll be taking my leave now, I wish you a smooth pregnancy from now on, Ms. Kang" The doctor said giving her a small smile as she nodded and he left the couple
Once the doctor left, Haneul bursted in tears, as she looked down at her lap, Ten immediately wrapping his arms around her, as she cried into his shirt.
"What am I gonna do? I'm only 19 and I don't know if I can even raise a baby" Haneul sobbed as she cried even louder
"I know, we'll figure this out together, just know I'm here for you" Ten said softly as she sniffled and wrapped her hands around his waist
She continued to cry, maybe it was the pregnancy hormones or the pent up emotions she had accumulated through these past few weeks.
Ten held her close as she cried in his arms, his heart feeling her pain and the relief that she felt when she let out a sob.
After Haneul calmed down, and got a chance to get herself together, She was allowed to leave the Coven's hospital, Ten helping her inside the house as she was still a little weak.
When she stepped into the house, she was engulfed into a hug, and she immediately hugged the person back, recognizing his scent.
"I've been so worried about you, I went to see you but you were still asleep" Winwin said as he examined her face, noticing her puffy red eyes
"She already knows, huh?" Winwin questioned Ten, who just nodded his head as Winwin let out a sigh
"Don't stress yourself out about this too much, it's not good for you or the baby" Winwin said as Haneul nodded and was pulled into one last hug
Winwin left to Taeyong's house as Ten helped Haneul up the stairs and helped her into a bath.
"I'll be outside in the room, call me if you need anything" Ten said as Haneul nodded and adjusted herself into the tub of water
Haneul just sat in the tub, without moving, as she just stared at her feet that peaked through the water.
Her hand went to her stomach, as she already felt a tiny bump form, feeling warmth come from it as she pursed her lips in a thin line, looking down at it.
"I'm actually pregnant, there's something really inside of me" She said quietly to herself
She was a 19 year old human, now Vampire that was mated to one of the most powerful heirs in the world, and she is set to rule all of this one day.
A couple months ago, she was a human, a Girl going to graduate school. She had a boyfriend, had many friends, did what normal girls did her age, but now she was pregnant with her first child, A child that would inherent many riches as well as Enemies.
She thought the same as Ten, she worried about its future, wanting nothing but the best for her child and that it would not go through all the things his/ her parents went through.
"Me and your dad will protect you with all our heart, and I hope I'll be enough of a mother for you, give you all my love and life"

This chapter is all over the place but I needed to update, and sis, it's the weekend and I'm failing all my classes, ugh I love that for me (T ^ T)
