The past few days before the incident with Minnie had been challenging to say the least for Ten, as he's been secretly meeting with Hendery, to figure out who was behind the attack on the Ten's coven.
"Seeing from all the blood samples I did on the corpses of the soldiers, it seems like they were more than just demons" Taeil said as Ten, Hendery, and Taeyong were in Taeil's lab aka the basement of the Coven hospital.
Being the son of the coven's head doctor and a mother who was a scientist, Taeil was very good with these things, That's why Ten had him run a few test on the soldiers.
"Are you saying they were hybrids?" Ten said as Taeil nodded
"But they didn't start out that way, it seems like someone has been making hybrids artificially" Taeil said as Hendery and Ten were beyond confused, as to how can someone be making hybrids?
"How is that possible? No one just turns into a hybrid unless your were born one in the first place" Hendery said
"Yeah, but let's look at it in a supernatural sense and not in a scientific one, where anyone can find the right witch or spell to be able to make this happen" Ten said as Taeil nodded in agreement
"Whoever is making hybrids, they don't have any good intentions with making them, Hybrids are hard to control and if they aren't used to so much power, they can fly off the handle and turn into something much less humane, which this person probably knew the risks and still decided to go along with it" Taeil said as Ten and Hendery looked at eachother, somehow they both had the same thought and sensed it
"You don't think?......It's very unlikely, why would he intentionally want to start a war?" Hendery said as Ten chuckled darkly and shook his head
"You don't know him like I do"
As they all leave and Hendery left the coven grounds without being spotted, Ten walked to his car, seeing Bambam leaning up against it.
"What do you want? Aren't you suppose to be tending my father's every needs?" Ten said as Bambam chuckled coldly
"Funny, Maybe he'd like to know why you are meeting up with Hendery in secret" Bambam said as Ten looked at him and raised an eyebrow, acting dumb in order to get under Bambam's skin
"Don't act like that, you know I know everything, if anything, I know you better than you know yourself, so don't try and deny anything"
"If you tell my father, it just proves my point about you. So, go on, and snitch" Ten said as he was about get into his car
"You think he won't trial you for Treason? Do you think you're untouchable just because you're his son? He'll even throw his own mother in the pits of hell to guarantee his place on the top, we both know your father too well" BamBam said as Ten halted and turned to look at him
"You know what he's doing, don't you?"
"That's not the point, all I'm telling you is that you need to be careful about what you're planning, for Haneul and your child's sake and because for once, I'm not the only one who knows everything"
"Why are you telling me this?"
"We're cousins, after all"
