"What did you say?" Ten said lowly as his expression dropped, turning to look at his father
"She's pregnant, Ten" Those words lingered in Ten's mind all through the night, as he layed next to Haneul, who was sleeping soundly
He didn't know how his father even knew that Haneul was pregnant but after, Ten now noticed that Haneul's scent had changed and that when he heard her heartbeat, there was two pulses.
He put a hand over stomach and felt his eyes start to water.
He didn't want this life for both of them.
He didn't want his child to be born into a world where there's war and chaos, a world it might not even be able to see.
"Come on, we'll be late and my mom is very stern with punctuality" Sorn said as she grabbed Haneul's hand, both of them running
Beforehand, Haneul was given a tour of coven grounds, seeing that the grounds were very big, but enough to have many houses, a hospital, training facilities, and even a small school for the younger kids.
Right now, both of them were running towards Sorn's house, as they were running late for their lunch date with Sorn's mother and Ten's other aunts, all of them wanting to meet Haneul.
They arrive and Haneul is starting to get nervous, hearing from multiple people including from Sorn that her mom raised Ten after his mother died. So, Sorn's mother was someone she really wanted to make a great impression on.
They reach the backyard, which was really large and Haneul seen 3 ladies sitting at a table under the Gazebo.
"Oh wow, how are you so pretty?!" One of the aunt's said as she stood up from her seat and went to Haneul immediately, engulfing in a hug
"Thank you" Haneul said as she bowed at all of them once the aunt broke the warm hug
"It's nice to meet you, I'm sorry we couldn't introduce ourselves at the party with all that happened" One of the aunts said, as her and another one came to hug her
"It's alright" Haneul said chuckling as She sat next to sorn
"Well, I'm Arinya, but you can just call my auntie, that's Amara and Anna" Sorn's mother said as she pointed at who's name belong to which Aunt
"We've heard a lot about you, and the ordeal that it was to get both of you back here" aunt Anna said as she sipped her coffee
"Yes, And from our part we'd like to apologize for Akara's actions towards you and Ten, our Brother does the absolute most" Anna said as Haneul shook her head and chuckled
"It's alright, things happen and it's good that we stopped him before he could do anything else to anyone" Haneul said as the Aunts nodded their heads understandably
"It must've been really stressful, especially in your condition" Amara said as Haneul slightly tilted her head in confusion, going to question what she meant by "condition"
"Sorry I'm late, I got way into training that I completely lost track of the time" Haneul turned and seen Lisa walking towards them, looking all red and flustered as she was still in her work out clothes
"You're just in time, but my gosh, couldn't you change sweetie?" Amara said as Lisa bowed to her aunts and mother, sitting down next to Haneul
"At least I'm here, my clothes are the least of your worries" Lisa said as she rolled her eyes at her mother, pouring herself a cup of orange juice
"Anyways, So, how are things going between you and my Nephew?" Arinya said
"Things are going great, things were hard in the beginning but we worked them out" Haneul answered, the aunts smiling at her response
"I'm glad to hear that, You two are very fitting for each other, I'd never seen my nephew smile so much, when we seen you two together at the celebration, both of you glowed" Arinya said softly as she grabbed Haneul's hand softly, making Haneul smiled widely
"Both of you will make great leaders some day" Amara said as everyone nodded in agreement
They talked and talked, Haneul taking an immediate liking to all the aunts as they've been nothing but welcoming and Kind to her.
But as the conversations went on, Haneul started to feel a sharp pain in her stomach and her vision blurred here and there.
She grimaced a little as another cramp hit her, clutching her stomach with one hand, the Aunt's started to feel her discomfort and grew worried.
"Haneul are you okay?" Sorn asked as she put her hand on Haneul's shoulder, her voice laced with concern
"Yes, i think I'm just a little worn out from the tour today, nothing major" Haneul said as she smiled weakly at them, trying to convince them that she was okay, but in reality, she felt like she was getting torn up from the inside
"I think it'll be better if you go and get some rest, Lisa and Sorn will accompany you back home" Anna said as Lisa and Sorn both nodded in agreement
"Ten will have our heads if we wear you out and get you sick" Lisa said as Haneul nodded, getting up from her seat and suddenly, The aunt's gasp
"Haneul, you're bleeding" Arinya exclaimed as Haneul looked and seen that blood covered her whole skirt and it was dripping down her leg
she soon felt her world start to fade as her eyes rolled back and she faint's, Lisa catching her right before she could hit the ground.
"Haneul!"
