It was the start of a new day, and the sun's rays had peaked through from the small openings of the curtains, and landed themselves on Haneul's arm, waking her up.
Haneul shot up from the bed, as she grunted in pain when she seen a burn mark where the sun had touched her skin.
"Haneul?" Ten said sleepy as his eyes opened slowly, letting out a tired yawn
Seeing that Haneul's arm had a burned mark, he quickly went to close the curtains.
"I should've been more careful" Ten said as he examined her burn mark, which started to Heal rapidly
Seeing the burn mark healing made Haneul remember what had happened the day before, and she chills went down her back just thinking about what happened to her.
"Ten" Haneul said softly as she stared at where the burn mark once was
"Mhh"
"Am I done turning now?" Haneul said as her voice grew quiet and strained
Ten nodded slowly, and gulped, waiting for a response from haneul, who looked as if she really wasn't there, and was in a daze.
Haneul felt like it was culture shock or something.
The fact that she might live for a couple hundred years, may never touch the sun again, and will see her family die while she stays young, was scary for her.
"I know that it might be too much for you to process everything, but it will get easier" Ten said as he hugged her tightly
"I hope so"

"How are you feeling, Haneul?" Yuta asked as they all sat in the dinning table
"Umm, I'm feeling like my normal self, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary" Haneul said as she brought a piece of pancake into her mouth, expecting it taste good, but it tasted sour and salty
Not wanting to spit it out, she forced herself to swallow it.
"These taste weird today" Haneul thought to herself
She shrugged it off as she brought a piece of egg and the same thing happened, it tasted the same as the pancake.
This time when she tried to force the food down, it immediately started to rise back up.
