Best friends. They truly are there to help you and protect you. To tell you when you are being crazy or maybe in the place as your parent while you are at school or not around your family.

Best friends come and go. That is reasonable. It is life. You move away from people and that includes your best friend. You instantly become sad over the fact you moved awat, blaming yourself for the end of a perfect friendship
But here is the thing. The friend can still be there through rough time.

Reece never had that type of friend though. He was awkward when it came to making friends that was no lie. He tried his hardest to be normal once and maybe this place could change his outcome and how he is. Get it made him worse. He has been in the country for almost six months though he hadnt made a friend. He hasn't made a friend because he choose to not plus no one really notices him fully like he should. Being the upcoming quarter back of the high school (most high schools are really serious about their football teams), you would think he gets noticed more.

But he doesn't.

Then he met Parked. A genuine guy who was a senior the year before. He graduated and Reece helped him to. Reece is smart in his own way. His is good in maths and so he uses that in an advantage as he was always two years above his grade. It was a secret at his old school in England how ever here anyone that could know the math teacher also knows Reece was the favorite. He was Parker's tutor for the that semester. Parker was on the border line of not graduating and he needed to get his math grade up to have a good GPA.

Reece helped him in that way and Parker helped him in many ways that he couldn't possibly count with all the fingers of his two hands.

He helped him that nught. That God forsaken night that changed Reece's life. He was there after Reece wanted to go home. He settled the boy down after the next mistake he made. He made three mistakes and two of those mistakes correspond with each other all to well.

Reece was aching everywhere. His hearty was aching and his head hurt from all the alcohol he was consuming. People around him cheered on and Reece looked at the wrapped dollar bill like a cold fish out of the water. He looked at the white powder he only knew as nuggets. And they were defiantly definitely not the chicken kind. He had has been around this only one time before and it wasn't pretty.

Reece looked at it and then shrugged his shoulders, "I dont know guys. I'm not sure about this."

"Bro we are only doing a little and then we can sober up in the beach before we set home. It au t going to do anything besides to give you a whirl," Phil says to him. Reece gulps after hearing that. Parker just runs Reece's shoulders and shakes his head.
