Middle school crushes. Ugh. Those were definaetly the worse for most people. Secondary school for anyone went pretty well for the most part as long as you can surpass the hormones you get around eleven and those feelings that you had maybe as a fifth grader were not there at all either. For that matter you then worry about the way you walk or talk, if your clothes are wrinkly or not, and whether if deciding to not brush your teeth that same morning was a big deal.

Oh. Yes middle school crushes. Everyone had them. That feeling you get when you wake up and tell yourself, "I wonder if he/she will be here today!" All girls have that feeling. Of course some do eventually go away from that feeling and just grow up. But only some guys have that feeling.

Reece Collins never had that feeling. He went to school because his mum wanted him to. "Getting your education, dimpolma, degrees, then worry about a girl and having kids!" is how his grandmoher had put it. But there was that self hate problem Reece also had. He never got into the wrong crowd or anything. He hardly had friends as a primary schooler but he still only kept to himself.

Then he moved to the small school in the United States. In California to be exact. Just a small little town that had nothing to sweet and cute for his liking. The view was okay. It wasn't to far from Orange County so he could relax on the weekends if he could. But that was the thing Reece didn't like to go any where. He wasn't a social butterfly here. For that first semster he hardly knew anoyone. He didn't really like anyone. He thought everyone was to prideful for themselves and stuck onto what they had on upstairs to care about really anoyone else. Reece cared for them don't get him wrong. it was just to much sometimes. All the girls cared about the jocks. Reece did sports. There were girls who liked him but all those girls were snobby little brats that had everything going for them. Kind of like the rest of what seems like American girls. Reece wanted something different. He wanted a life that he would love and cherish until it was over.

Then he met her...

Kathy Garbrel.

He remembered the exact moment he first saw her too. He was in line at lunch. The very end because usually if you had first lunch and at the end of the line they usually get ready for the second lunch entrees. Kathy was in the begining portion of the line and he heard a small yet very likable laugh. He looked and saw her.

That was first vision of Kathy. Her long very light brown hair past her shoulders. Her dress that hugged her figure so fondly that he was sure she was taken.

However she wasn't. She was far from being taken actually. Because she was going through the same and smiliar things he was going through. Reece never got to know those things until the night they fully met.

The second vision was her being in his drama class. The first day Reece joined drama. The play was coming up but Reece decided to not get a big role since it would be his first play in the new school and that the semster was already two months in so he didn't want to take any chances of getting aquainted to anyone. But as he was practising his only line he spotted her. Her bright smile shine unlike any stars Reece could ever see. Her voice was angelic almost as she was talking to the inscrutor.

Reece didn't want to seem rude or even worse some creep so he ducked away and just focused on his only line. Which was coming up in the play. This scene the main girl part was walking in the store. (which the set up was to die for as they literally brought some shelves with groceries. ) He was suppose to play the employee and ask the usual question you could ever ask as an employee of a store.

"Can I help you find anything ma'am?"

Reece being his drama freak self. (he had a soft side, okay) had practised this line several times. Make that several hundred times. In front of his mirror as he made sure he did it right. Should he keep his accent? Should he try to sound American? Yet that one failed. Should he do something else? Maybe sound southern? No that didn't sound casual or even human for that matter.
