Its was a Beautiful Morning, the rain fell heavily. The weather was suddenly cold not like that morning when the sun shone brightly. Kande was ready for school, She Bid Her Mum farewell and left for School

Arriving the School Entrace made of Aluminum Zinc, She Met Zainaba Her Best Friend.

"Hey Zainaba!" She Exclaimed as soon as she saw her, "How are You Today"

"I am Fine and You" Zainaba Replied

"Never been Better". She replied

"What Happened Yesterday? You were absent, I wanted to Check on you but i had to take Umma's Kunun Zaqi to the Motor Park" Zainaba enquired.

Kande Smiled Sadly and Replied "I was ill and Couldn't Make it to School, thankyou for the Concern"

Zainaba Crossed her hand to Kande's Shoulder "are you Okay, You seem sad"

Kande Sighed "You won't understand but I promise to break it down to you in details very soon".

Zainaba Noded her head and replied "Okay Let's Hurry and enter the class it's almost time"

They rushed to Class .

When the School was Over, Kande assured Zainaba that she Will Visit her later in the Evening, With that they parted to their Various Homes.

Kande Got Home and Met Falmata Praying.
Beside the door to Baba's room was a bag of Rice, 1Bag of Maize, 1gallon of Palmoil and 3bags of Pure water, She stood with her mouth Open, looking Confused as she knew they can't afford that.

Baba Shouted Behind her " Keh Why are you standing with your mouth open, are you suprise with the goodies your Husband Sent"

She Replied looking Scared and Confused"Baba Husband kuma I ......"

"Kimun Shuru a wurin, What do you know about life, how many young girls are dreaming to marry a rich man like Alhaji and You are here Blabbering Rubbish" He Yelled At Her

"The Next time you try to argue with me, i will make sure i beat the hell out of you" He entered his room ,Leaving kande standing like a Mango tree.

She Wiped her tears and Entered her mother's room putting on the best smile and pretend like nothing Happened "Mama I am Back"

"Welcome Back My Child" She Sighed and Continued "Kande Clear all worries from your mind, Allah Will See Us Through".

Kande Held her mother's hand and Said "Mama I Believe in destiny, i won't shed any tears regarding this Issue again".

Mama was so happy, She ordered kande to remove her uniform, Pray and help her stomach with something

Kande Noded In agreement.

Kande Close the bowl of her food and took it near the kitchen Hut. She returned and pleaded with mama to allow her visit Zainaba her friend, Mama permitted her on the condition that she'll be back before Magrib.

She took her Orange Hijab and headed to Zainaba's House

"Assalamu Alaikum" Came Kande's Voice
"Wa'alaikums Salam" Umma, Zainaba's Mother answered.

"Good Afternoon Umma" Kande Greeted squatting down.

"Ahh Kande!! You decided to Vist Us today"? asked Umma

"No Umma, I always wanted to come but i was tensed up by school and house chores" She answered Fiddling with the edge of her hijab

"Toh Allah Ya bada Sa'a, How Is Your Mother"?

"Mama is Fine, she sends her greetings" this time smiling while looking at Umma

"Ina amsawa, Zainaba is Inside" as she continue to fetch water from their well.

Suddenly Zainaba appreared from No where grinning and Pulled kande's hand to her Room

"Stop Pulling me it hurts, I almost hit my leg" Cooed kande

"Sorry! You finally came i thought you won't Showup" exclaimed Zainaba as she fetch water in a small bowl for kande

"I always keep my Words " Smirking at Zainaba.

"So! Are You going to fulfill what you promised or what" Zainaba asked Kande giving her a Serious Look.

Kande narrates all the story about her marriage with Alhaji Mati.

Zainaba was shocked and out of words, she really don't know what to use to console her bestfriend. She Promised to Pray for her.

Kande was grateful with having a friend like Zainaba In her life.

They had a long conversation, before she decided to take her leave, Umma gave her 2 Bunch of Brooms for her mother. She thanked her and bid them goodbye

Reaching Home She Met Her Mum in the kitchen, she showed her the brooms ,took them to her room and returned to help her Mum.

After they served the Night meal she took her father's share and met him with a Guest

"Assalamu Alaikum Good evening" she greeted the guest

Wa'alaikum Salam Kande!How are you? He asked

"I am Fine" She replied with her head looking down

She Moved an Inch and dropped the food, when she turned about to take her leave, her father draws back her attention

"Kande!! This Is Alhaji Mati your Husband to be" He Exclaimed while Smiling

She noded and left.

Immediately she returned she told her Mother about her father's guest. They talked about random things and retired for the day
