"Ugh, are you okay ,Juvia? You seem a little flushed." Gray asked, as he handed a family a flyer. Juvia blushed.

"Juvia is fine. Just a little excited about the carnival!" Juvia said.

Gray coughed. "Me too." He blushed.

"Gray-Sama!"Juvia joyfully tackled him, causing the flyers to fly.

Now...

The day of the carnival...

Everyone around the guild was impatient. They wouldn't open the carnival until 4:30 p.m. Natsu, Lucy, and Happy were going, with Wendy and Carla of course. Levy asked Gajeel to go with her, after a pep talk from Cana and Mirajane. Juvia and Gray were going together, obviously. They just hoped Lyon wasn't serious about what he said about joining them. The whole guild was preparing food to sell at the carnival.

"Erza-San." Juvia poked Erza to get her attention.

"Yes?" She was decorating a strawberry cake to her liking, planning to buy it later for herself.

"Did you not ask any one to the carnival?" Juvia asked, placing lollipops of the FairyTail Guild insignia neatly in a box.

Erza blushed. "No, why do you ask?"

Before Juvia was about to reply Lucy plopped in a seat next to them. She started smiling. "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Erza tell us, did you want to ask anyone in particular?" Both Lucy and Juvia looked at Erza for an answer. Levy, Mirajane, Cana, and Wendy couldn't help but overhear.

"Tell us Erza. It's not a big deal." Cana nudged Erza.

"Well there is one person..." Erza started.

"Who?" Mira asked.

"Jellal." Erza whispered. Everyone smiled as Erza blushed.

" It's not really a surprise, Erza." Levy said. Everyone nodded.

"I probably would have asked him, but who knows where he is now? He's out there stopping dark guilds." Erza sighed.

"I'll be your date to the carnival if it makes you feel better." Cana said, chugging down her drink. The girls laughed.

"Thanks, Cana." Erza said. Then, Laxus stormed in the guild. Dragging Natsu and Gray behind them.

"Laxus, what happened now?" Master asked, as Erza joined his side.

"Well, I caught these two goons fighting around the shops in town. Gramps, they destroyed a jewelry store and the store are demanding we pay for repairs." Laxus said while the whole guild gasped. The whole guild was talking amongst themselves, asking how on earth would we be able to afford it right after they spent so much on the carnival.

"Master," Mirajane began," We could pay for the repairs with what we earn during the carnival and if we don't have enough afterwards, Natsu and Gray can do jobs to pay for whats left."

Master sighed. "That's a very good idea."

"What will be the punishment for them?" Erza asked, glaring at Natsu and Gray.

Master thought about it. "They won't be able to attend the carnival. Instead they will stay here in the guild and put up a magic act for kids to raise money." The guild gasped.

"What?!" Juvia asked herself. She hung her head while Levy comforted her.

"That seems reasonable." Erza agreed while Natsu and Gray gaped at Laxus, Erza, and Master.
