Mitsuki
I helped Sara-Jo out of the car. She is still weak from the surgery. Luckily, the doctors understood her and didn't pressure our beautiful maknae. I was a bit shocked when I found out that she had cancer and I admit, I cried a little. Then I stopped and remembered that Sara-Jo is going to need help. There's no reason to cry over something that can't be fixed.
She's just so young. I'm afraid that our company is still going to make her work, even in this condition. Sara-Jo is a main part of our performances and we're also working on a new song. It kills me to think about what the company might put her through.
Her attitude worries me even more though. She's the type of girl who will just shut the pain off like she always does and keep working. It isn't healthy. I'm sure it isn't fun either.
Hojoon and I help Sara-Jo up the steps. She doesn't groan or whine, she doesn't even look as if she is in pain. A real champ. I'm very proud to say that she's the maknae of G4 Squared.
When we climb into her bedroom, she climbs onto her bed all by herself. Sara-Jo winces once, then closed her eyes. "The manager will be here later tonight. He wants us to go and practice singing our new song, 'Soon to Solve,'" I tell Sara-Jo. She nods her head. "I haven't looked over it once. They're going to kill me," she says.
Hojoon rests on his knees next to Sara-Jo's bed and takes her hand in his. "Don't worry about it. You're a champ. You'll get it in one go." He's so sweet to her. Then, Hojoon's phone vibrates in his pocket. He takes it out and answers it. The boy loses his smile, then puts his phone away. "I have to go to practice. I'll be back, I promise." He stands up and gives her a kiss, then walks out of the room.
I look at Sara-Jo and smile. "When did this happen? when did you guys start having feelings for each other? what's going on?" I ask her quickly and excitedly. It makes me smile knowing that she has another person that likes her.
Sara-Jo laughs. She shrugs her shoulders. "I guess, we were a little blond to it. Always shrugging it off because of our ages. Then when all the sad news came and I saw him right there for me, holding my hand, I noticed it." I giggle a little and she stops talking. Sara-Jo rolls her eyes, but doesn't lose her smile. "I know it sounds really stupid. I should be embarrassed." I shake my head. "No, no, it's cute, really. He's so sweet to you. What are your plans with him though? It's not like you'll have the chance to be together forever. Plus, you're only eighteen. He's in his early twenties already."
She looks down at her hands and rubs the back of her hand with her thumb. "I wish I was twenty. That, or I wish we were in the States. Then everything would be okay." I bring my chair a little closer to her bed. I reach out my hand and cover hers. "Hey, look at your Unnie." She looks up at me with her blue eyes. "I'm going to help, okay? Everything is going to work out. Now, let's get you ready for practice. Put a nice outfit on and do your hair and makeup? Does that sound good?" She nodded her head when I finished talking. I helped her out of bed.

"Thank you very much, Mitsuki." I nodded my head and finished up Sara-Jo's makeup. She stood up and bowed in my direction. "Thank you," was all she said. She stood up straight and I looked her over.
I put her in a pair of jean shorts and a purple tank top that was loose to hide swelling from her surgery. I put her hair up into a bun with pretty clips that are visible. It was a bit difficult because her hair is so short, but I'm a pro and I want her to look as healthy as possible.
Sara-Jo had looked tired for a while, but now she has a light smile on her face. It makes me wonder why she doesn't accept treatment. They have enough money to do it. Maybe it's too difficult with the amount of cancer she has and she can't do it.
