"There's someone here" I whisper to jack

"It's just your imagination" he replies and continues walking. I can't shake the feeling someone is following us as we walk deeper into section 7. Jack finally stops in front of a old house. The windows are boarded up and the porch is almost completely destroyed. He walks in through the front door and I follow him as we walk up the stairs. The faded pink wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Everything smells Mildewy and dust covers the floor along with papers. I pick up a newspaper and I blow the dust off of it. "Zodiac gang must be stopped!" the heading reads. I look up to see jack in the doorway of a bedroom at the end of the hall. I drop the newspaper and I join him in the room. He quietly closes the door. He runs over to a dark wooden vanity which is covered in old ragged clothes and a blue box. He lifts open the blue box and He pulls out a rectangle box with pink triangle print from next to the vanity. He pulls out a thin square cardboard paper and pulls out a black circle. He sets it gently down onto the blue box. He picks up the pin and sets it on the black circle that I soon recognize it is a record player. Calming Music fills the room and jack turns on a lantern which fills the room with light. I walk closer and I stare as the record spins. I look down at the cardboard container which secretly held the record for years and I read the words.
"Clair de la lune extended version" it says. I watch as the record spins like a curious child.

"How did you find this" I question jack

"I got bored and went exploring"

"This is amazing"

"I knew you would like it"

I turn to him and I smile.

"Remember when we were little and your mother used to hum the tune"

"Yeah she used to hum it while she cooked us dinner. Remember how you and yorkgen used to stay for dinner like every night"

"Yeah. i still can't believe he killed that guard"

"I wonder why he did it"

"He started to lose it and did what he did"

"Yeah" i think back to the way life was like growing up. It was so simple then. We didn't have to worry about going to our horrible jobs. All we worried about was what we were getting for dinner. Yorkgen was a old friend who was older then me and jack. He eventually killed a guard and hanged his body outside the guard station. That day me and jack were walking home with apollo and saw the crowd that surrounded the outside of the station. The man was hanging and his eyes were missing from there sockets. That's all i can remember before quickly turning and closing my eyes. Yorkgen was privately executed and that was the end of his story. A brick flies through the window of the house and glass shatters everywhere. I duck to the floor and jack reaches into his jacket and pulls out a glock 19.
"Where did you get that!" I yell knowing he can be executed for having a weapon. He ignores me and goes to the freshly broken window and yells out "hey it's me" and I hear someone yell back
"sorry mate. Come down here"

Jack turns to me "come on" he says

"Hell no" I say

"Okay. Stay here...alone" he starts to leave and I get up and turn the record player off and I run to catch up with jack who's already down the stairs and heading out the door.

"I knew you would come" he says

"I'm not staying here alone" I reply and he laughs a little. jack shines his light on a man with his hood up.

"Lee what up" he says to him

"Nothing much. Who's the girl?" Lee questions as he looks at me and I get closer to jack.
