The next morning we return to the hospital and I go straight to work with Amy. The flightier planes were suicide bombers from the north and everyone is getting worried that the north is getting closer. I don't see arist that morning because he was going to search for a job again so I busy myself with work. Apollo goes out to the gym like most of his days and plays basketball with some of the other bunker kids his age. When I finish work it's beginning to get dark and I realize I'm exhausted from working 12 hours straight. I drag myself towards arists room and I open the door to find him laying on his bed staring at the wall.
"Hey," I say as I sit on the edge of his bed
"What do you want?" He angrily asks
"Why are you angry?"
"I fucking can't find any kind of job" he yells
"I'm sorry"
"I don't need your pity I just need a job"
"Your find one soon" I reassure him
"Just Shut the hell up"
"If you're going to be a dick about it then you can go fuck Yourself" I angrily yell
"Go away"
"Okay" I walk out the door and slam it shut as hard as I can and I see Jack and Jeremy walking down the hall with there hands filled with bags of chips. Jeremy take a chip out and shoves it into his mouth then says
"Young love"
"Shut the fuck up" I scream and then I storm past them towards the stairs. I sit on a bench next to the edge of the roof and I stare out at the sunset. The oranges and pinks and blues and even a little purple all splash together like paint on a canvas to form a magnificent sunset. Jack and Jeremy take a seat next to me on both sides and jack leans his head against my shoulder. We stare at the sunset as I calm down from screaming.
"Lunny, what's wrong?" Jack asks with his sweet childlike voice when he is worried enough to be sad. It's almost like a dog whimpering after being yelled at for stealing a steak off the table.
"Arist was being a dick and we got into a fight and you know me I don't let anyone yell at me without being screaming back" I explain
"Good you don't ever let anyone yell at you and get away with it lunny"
"Don't let anyone be a dick with you unless you're trying to get the dick inside of you" Jeremy mumbles as he rests his head on my shoulder too.
"Jeremy what the fuck" I say bursting out laughing
"Yeah I don't know what weird shit I say either"
"Jack can you please do me a favor and check on arist because I am worried and I know you guys get along really well," I ask jack and he sits up and pulls me into a hug.
"I'll make this better Lunny" he whispers before leaving
"So what you are guys fighting about? Did something break?" Jeremy casually asks
"What the fuck. No"
"Wait so you guys have?" He starts asking
"Uh no," I say
"Your fucking blushing. Yes you too....together in the shower"
"Shut up"
"Or is it a bathtub? Which one is better"
"Shower and shut up"
"Oh my god really?"
"No I'm going to throw you off this roof" I threaten and he smiles
