"Luna" yells jack and he quickly gets up and hugs me with excitement. I then feel another hug from behind me.
"Welcome to the surface" says Jeramy into my ear. I pull away from both of them and I smile.
"I thought you were both dead" tears start to escape my eyes
" we are survivors" Jeremy remarks
"Dont cry" jack pulls me into another hug
"I'm just so happy to see you all"
"I know. I'm so happy to see you. I couldn't wait till they took you out of the coma. I did visit. We got trapped in the basement of the warehouse and we thought it was the guards so we started shooting" jack explains as he looks behind him at the man. He's not human and his shoulder is bandaged.
"I kinda shot him" he says gesturing the man and i can't help but chuckle a little. He stands up and takes the vape from jack and takes a huge inhale and blows smoke everywhere.
"I go by arist" he says
"So you guys are friends now?" I ask
"Yep. Best friendships begin with being shot" he says with a smile
"Well I'm hungry so I'm eating and you shouldnt be smoking in a hospital just saying" I walk over to the cafe and I get myself a meal and I sit down. Jeramy, jack and arist join me.
"You can smoke in this lounge"arist informs me after sitting down across from me.
"So sweetheart why are you here?" he then asks
"I'm from the bunker"
"No I mean what happened to you to end up in the hospital. These two idiots are only here because there bunker survivors but you were put in the hospital ward"
"Oh. I hit my head and tried to cut my barcode out of my arm"
"Well I guess that makes three idiots"
"How am I an idiot?"
"You could have just tattooed over the barcode sweetheart"
"I'm not your sweetheart!"
"Okay....sweetheart"
"Your not gonna stop calling me that are you?"
"Nope" he says with a smirk
"Fine. I'm not a idiot. I didn't have access to a tattoo machine"
"Just put a sticker over it"
"Wow puts sticker over barcode. That's definitely gonna work" i sarcastically say
"Maybe not get caught"
"Can you shut up" I tell him
"Okay sweetheart" he says with a smile and I look at him annoyed. I whisper into jacks ear
"You did a good job at picking a friend" jack laughs.
"He's not that bad"
"Sure". I begin to eat when arist starts being to be annoying again.
"Hey sweetheart can I start talking now?"
"Only if you stop calling me sweetheart"
"Maybe I don't want to stop"
"Then shut up"
"No I don't feel like it. Can I have your apple?". I look down at arist's tray which has a apple on it.
"You have an apple" I say annoyed
"Yeah but I don't red apples"
"Whatever you can have my apple then". He takes it and bites into it then sets it down.
