Chapter 6: the blue sky

One month ago March 2171

I'm in the interrogation room sitting across from Gustavo. My wrists are handcuffed to the table which has a U shaped piece of metal to hold the chains. My ankles are cuffed to the chair and im horribly uncomfortable sitting here.
"Where are the weapons!" demands Gustavo as he slams his fist on the table.

"I'd rather cut my tongue out and eat it before I'll ever tell you anything" I say leaning forward with a sly smile.

"You better tell me now or.." I quickly cut him off "Your execute me like my father"

"No maybe you should see this and then your talk" he says and goes to the wall and lifts up a screen. There's glass between me and my mother who is restrained into a chair. Gustavo turns my chair to face the window causing the cuffs to pull onto my wrists. I wince from the sharp pain as the metal cuts into my skin. I stare into my mother's blue eyes to find fear. She's shaking in her restraints knowing what will happen if i don't talk soon.

"Tell me where the weapons are!" he demands again but I stay quiet.

"If you kill her I will destroy your entire existence" i calmly warn

"I would like to see you try". He presses a button and what happened to my father begins to happen to my mother.

"STOP. STOP" I scream trying to break free of my restraints. He removes his finger from the button and sits down across from me. My mother is Still alive but there's blood coming from her nose and mouth. I keep my eyes on her while I speak.

"I'll tell you if you let my mother go"

"Okay. Now where are the weapons?"

"There in a house at section six. House number is 15. There hidden under the floorboards"

"Thank you Luna. You told the truth"

"Wait, how would you know if i told the truth?"

"Your Friend jack told us the same thing and we went and found nothing but this" he pulls out a small piece of parchment paper and lays it out in front of me. On it is the zodiac chart written in blue ink. I look up at Gustavo whos now standing and he's smiling when he presses the button and killing my mother before my eyes.

April 2171

The smell of gunpowder fills my nostrils as I regain consciousness of my surroundings. I don't see anything but dust and fire engulfing what used to be the guard station. I notice it has begun to spread to the buildings surrounding. I reach around till I feel my flashlight and I flick it on. Laying in front of me is a body that I don't recognize. I slowly get up and I shine my light around. I don't see anyone but a few body parts are laying around me.
"Apollo" I yell out but I don't get a reply. I slowly walk away from the burning building. As I walk I stumble over bricks from the building. Im nearing the houses when another bomb goes off next to me and throwing me down onto the brick road. I hit my head on a rock and start to feel blood drip down my head. My hearing goes in and out as I lay on the road. In the distance I hear shoes hitting the ground and yelling. The ringing fades and I hear Lucas yelling.
"LUNA" he yells as he falls down next to me

"Hey girly you okay" he says and then bullets fly over us.

"Stay down" he says protecting me from the bullets with his body. When the bullets stop he helps me up and we start to run away from the danger. More bullets start flying past us and I run fast passing Lucas. I realize I'm alone and I quickly turn around to see Lucas's Body sprawled out on the ground. I run back ducking to the ground as I near him.
