Barry's pov:
I was in my office at CCPD. It was July 11th, the due date for Iris and my baby. I couldn't focus so I hope Capitan Singh didn't have any major things for me. I just can't wait to meet our baby. Iris didn't want to find out the gender, so it's gonna be a surprise. I think Iris wants a boy, probably thinking I want one. But I actually want a girl. I was brought out of my thoughts by the ringing of my cell. I picked it up to see who it was and eagerly answered. "Hey Joe." I said with a big grin. "Hi Barr, it's time." I heard Joe say. I could tell he was grinning as well. "Ok. I'll be there in a flash." I said hanging up. Then I zoomed out running straight to the hospital.

Still Barry's pov:
I was sitting in the waiting room with, Cisco, Joe, Ralph, Harry and Caitlin, we had been there for about an hour. I got up and started pacing. I could see Cisco watching me out of the corner of my eye. "Bro. You're a hot mess." I heard Cisco say with a chuckle. "I know." I said, sitting back down with a plop in one of the chairs. A few more minutes passed by and then a nurse came to bring us back. We walked to the back and there was my beautiful wife, with our beautiful baby. Iris looked up at me as I walked in. "It's a girl." She said with happy tears in her eyes. I walked over and kissed Iris on her forehead and smiled. "She's beautiful, just like her mother." I said. Cheesey I know, but it's true. I saw Iris smile and giggle a bit. "You are so cheesy Barry Allen." She said looking up at me and smiling. "I know." I laughed a bit. I saw Joe walk up and felt him put his hand on my shoulder. "She is beautiful." He said. I looked down at our baby girl and smiled. She smiled back and giggled at me. "She's laughing at you already rookie." Ralph said with a laugh. "Well I don't mind right now." I said. I was kinda in my own little world with my little family. "What's her name?" I heard Caitlin ask excitedly. Iris looked at me and then Caitlin and smiled. "We we're thinking Emma Renee Allen." She said proudly. I had the proudest grin on, but hey, I had a right to be proud this time. "Awwwww" Caitlin, Cisco, and Ralph all said at the same time. Joe and me were smiling, and Iris giggled. "I'm calling her Smol Flashie." Ralph said. Cisco raised an eyebrow at Ralph. While Caitlin just giggled. "Well I'm gonna call her Allen number 2." I heard Harry say. "That's not creative at all." Cisco said. "It's not supposed to be Ramon." Harry responded. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

Iris's pov:
Ok, so having a two year old speedster baby was a bigger pain in the butt then I had planned. I had a story I needed to finish and get turned in by Sunday and it's Friday evening. But it is extremely difficult to concentrate when your hyperactive baby zooms by and sends all your papers off the desk and flying through the air. Speaking of, I felt wind blow through my legs as little Emma zoomed passed me giggling. "You think this is funny?" I asked folding my arms. She giggled again and said "yes mommy." I just rolled my eyes and walked over to pick her up. I held her in my arms and asked "you ready for bed baby?" She shook her head no, but I could tell she was tired. I mean who wouldn't be after running around non stop all day. I went ahead and started getting her ready for bed, even tho I knew she wouldn't go to sleep until she was told good night by both me and Barry. When she was all ready I just placed her in her crib with some picture books, she might as well be learning if she's not gonna sleep. I went and grabbed my story from the coffee table in the living room and brought it to Emma's room to sit with her while we waited for Barry. About 30 minutes later, Emma was still awake 'reading' her books to her self. It was adorable to listen to her 'read' she would make up stories to go with the pictures. I smiled at my baby and then got back to work. The next thing I knew there was a gust of wind from behind me that blew my papers everywhere. "Barry!" I said annoyed. "Sorry Iris, didn't realize that you would be working in here." Barry apologized and then did that dorkish grin that always made smile. "DA DA!!" Emma squealed and started hopping up and down. "Hey kiddo." Barry said walking over to the crib to pick her up. "What did you do today?" He said softly, sitting in the old rocker dad had brought over the day we brought her home. Emma started saying everything she had done that day. Of course it was gibberish but Barry pretended he knew every word she was saying. After Emma had finished describing her day it was like someone flipped a switch, she just snuggled up to Barry and went right to sleep. I smiled and stood up with my papers. "Well I believe you have this under control." I said. Barry looked at me and smiled. "Yup. She's out cold." He looked back down at our sleeping baby with a proud grin on his face. "Well I'm going to finish this story, and then I'm going to bed." I walked over and kissed Barry. "Night babe." I said walking out. "Good night Iris." I heard Barry say.
