Emma's pov:
It was about a month after my birthday and things had gotten back to normal. Me, mom and dad had all started doing things together again. I wasn't in my room all the time. Dad was even letting me train a little more. Me and Hunter had been hanging out almost everyday. The only thing that was bad in my life now was... the gang. Raider had been harping on me to help them with some terrible things. She said my speed would be helpful. I kept telling her it wasn't gonna happen. I was the only one that stood up to her. Everyone else was scared of her. I didn't need the gangs help anymore I had just needed time to begin with, but I was afraid to leave because of the consequences. I was at star labs training when all the alarms went off. Everyone ran into the cortex to their spots. "Looks like a heist at the bank." Cisco said. "In the middle of the day?" Ralph asked raising an eyebrow. "Looks that way." Caitlin replied. "You gonna take this stretch?" Cisco asked looking at Ralph. "I mean sure. No need to call in rookie." Ralph chuckled and ran to put on his suit. "Can I help?" I asked walking over to Cisco. He looked at Caitlin and she shrugged her shoulders. Then he looked back at me and gave me a little smile. "Maybe not this time short stuff." He said looking back at the computer. I sighed and went and flopped down in one of the chairs. Then Ralph came out. "Ya mind Cisco?" He motioned towards Cisco's hands. Cisco rolled his eyes and opened a breech. "As long as that took you they're probably gone now." He remarked. "Harhar." Ralph said going through the breech. I walked over to Harry's station. He had the security footage at the bank pulled up. "They look like a group of young adults." Harry commented. "Well there is a gang of young adults in Central City. They normally don't give us too much of a problem though. Just property damage and things like that." Caitlin said. Yeah, I knew who she was talking about. I watched the footage on the pannel when one of the robbers mask slipped off. We got a glimpse of who the person was. It was Annie! "One of their masks slipped!" Harry said. "I'll run a facial recognition scan." He said starting up a scan on a different pannel. A few minutes had passed and Annie and Finnick quickly left the bank. Over the comms Ralph said "guess they didn't want the money too bad, or I'm just that awesome." We all just ignored him. "Ha." Harry said. "The computer recognized our bank robber." He pulled up Annie's profile onto one of the bigger screens. "Annabelle Olsen." Cisco said crossing his arms. "It says here she is an active member of some gang lead by someone by the name of Raider." Harry said. We all looked at the profile. I never relized how much stuff they actually could find out using star labs computers. It's kinda creepy. "I gotta blast." I say getting up and walking towards the exit. When I got outside I zoomed to the loft. I quickly changed into something a little more suitable, for what I needed to do. I opened my door and snuck downstairs. I wasn't sure if mom was home or not, but, better safe then sorry. I walked towards our front door and opened it. I walked down the hallway and to the stairwell. I opened the door and as soon as it closed I zoomed down all the flights and out the exit. I ran to the gangs hang out and walked in. I angrily walked towards Raiders "office". One of the guys stepped in front of me " you can't go in there now." He said standing in front of the door. "Really? Well watch me." I say pushing him out of the way and barging in. When I walked in Raider looked up at me. "What do you want?" She asked annoyed. "What was that stunt you pulled today?" I angrily asked crossing my arms. "It's none of your concern. Now get out of here." She said looking down. "I believe it is. Annie's mask slipped and they know who she is." I say. Raider stood up and walked towards me. "Well then, we will have to figure out a way to keep them from finding us." She said getting in my face. I pushed her back. "Well have fun dealing with that, I'm leaving... permanently. " I say turning to walk out. Raider grabbed my shoulder and yanked me back. She pushed my back against the wall, forcing me to look at her. "Your quitting? Did you forget about the consequences?" She asked with a smug smile. I pushed her away from me. "You don't scare me." I say. She stepped back and chuckled. "Your tough Emma, that's what I like about you. But I know your weaknesses." She teases. I roll my eyes and walk out. "Just remember what I said about those consequences. This isn't the last you'll be seeing of me." I heard her call from the room. I rolled my eyes again and walked out of the hideout. When I was out of sight I zoomed back to the loft. I walked in the front door to see dad sitting on the couch. He turns around and sees me walking towards the stairs. "Hey kiddo." He says. "Hi." I say. Not really in the mood for a conversation I walked upstairs. I changed into a tank top and some shorts and plopped down onto my bed. I lay there for a few minutes when I hear a light knock on my door. "You ok Emma?" I hear dad ask sounding a bit concerned. "I'm fine." I call rolling over onto my side. "Alright... just checking." He says. I heard him walk away. I knew he wasn't convinced. I laid there thinking about what Raider's consequences would be.
