Months passed, years. The pain suffering through all of them. I never time travelled again. Instead I met a girl, Alicia Margrove, and settled down. I lived a full life from then on.
One random day in July of 2056, I was going through my personal effects looking for something miniscule, but I found something monumentous. I reached deep into the box of papers and books and pulled out a necklace. The necklace had a small, glass, dolphin hanging on it. A truly beautiful necklace. As I sat there and rolled the necklace through my fingers, it hit me. The memories came back and caused pain. I sat on the floor that day and cried until Alicia came in.
"What's wrong dear?" She said, her sweet voice enveloping me.
I showed her the necklace, "It was her's. Lydia's necklace."
"Oh sweetheart," She said, wrapping me in a tight hug.
We sat there on that floor for what seemed like hours until another thought came to mind. I stood up and began walking to my office. I sat in the chair and grabbed my laptop, opening a new folder.
I titled the page simply "Time Burn Theorem" and began writing.
I typed until my fingers bled explaining how to time travel. I typed and typed until it was done, then I submitted it.
"For you Lydia. For everyone," I said aloud.
