The holidays are over. It's a bad thing for others but for us it's the best thing that ever happened the whole week because that means hell week is done and we're home. I can't be thankful enough to eat my dad's cooking and listen to him practice his singing 'cause he was chosen to represent their department to a singing competition in their company. I like how he is happy to be staying at home and being a full time father for me but I hope he doesn't stay that way forever. I know he loves baseball. I just don't know how I'll make him realize that.
It's a Monday. School has resumed again and I'm wearing my uniform again. I attend a private school so we have those prissy looking uniforms on. It's cute though. I like wearing mine with a ribbon tie and ankle socks rather than knee high socks. Syd likes knee high socks better because she's always been insecure of her legs. She would rather wear trousers if we were given an option.

I've walked past every hallway, looking for my best friend so we can hang out and do all girls stuff all day 'cause I'm afraid I've gotten too accustomed to their savage ways. I already started to catch Jimin's habit of lifting one leg up when he's seated but, nevertheless, I like Jimin as my roommate. He's nice and chill. He's gained my vote to date Syd. I think they suit each other so well. Sydney is more of an introvert and Jimin is an outgoing guy so I think he'll be a good influence on her. I want her to have fun and be comfortable others.
As I walked back to the cafeteria, I saw one of Syd's classmates. We're not in the same class. "Hey, Hyemi."
"Vee!" She squealed when she looked behind her back and saw me. We've been friends for a long time too so she's been part of my childhood memories too. She's a bit shorter than us and popular with the boys since she has that cute charm to her.
"Oh my god. You're back!" Hyemi held onto my arm, clinging onto me. "How was it?"
"How was what?" I furrowed my eyebrows and let out a small laugh.
"Being away with the baseball team for one week. Of course." She pointed out, eyes sparkling from curiosity. "I wish I could've been there too. I really like Namjoon so much. He's so cute and tall."
Her group of friends all fangirled at the thought of my teammate. Some of them had follow up questions about the boys like how it was to be eating with them, if they have favorite foods or other hobbies but I have no time to join Namjoon's fanclub.
"I'll tell you some other time." I told them and they all frowned, especially Hyemi, the fanclub President. "Really sorry guys. I'm a little busy right now. I'm looking for Syd. Has anyone seen her?"
"I think I saw her earlier. She was walking to where the club rooms are." One of the girls said.
"Right. Thanks." I said and escaped from Hyemi's clutches. Why didn't I think of going there first? Knowing my best friend, she's probably editing videos or picking out good photos to compile in her portfolio.
