Warning, possible triggers ahead, mentions of blood and implied abuse.

You strode through the hanger following close on the heels of Hux, who was doing an inspection. Everything was immaculate, and running smoothly, and so far the report was outstanding. At least until one of the mechanics, bumped a stripped wire into another.

The air was suddenly filled with the deafening sound of a tie engine, and metal scraping on metal. You swung your head upwards, high up on the wall a fighter being fixed up had jolted forwards, fracturing one of the wings. Massive splinters of metal plummeted down from above.

You lunged for Hux instinctively as you saw a large jagged chunk coming down over him. Your shriek mingled with a surprised sounding noise from the General as both of you collided, hitting the ground seconds before the massive thing pierced the floor beside you - where you're feet had been just seconds before.

Hux took a couple seconds to process what had just happened, pushing himself off of his stomach, and looking at you, "Are you alright?" You responded with a quick nod, and his face immediately changed into one of fury, as he stood up, spun 'round on his heel, stalked towards the cowering crew, and began screaming about how completely unacceptable a mistake like that was.

Once he had turned around again (after yelling for quite some time), he began to ask you to move the inspection until tomorrow, but you were nowhere to be found. 'Oh dear...' He thought as he went out to search for you.

You had hidden yourself away in your quarters, knowing the your best friend would check his own first due to the fact that you basically lived in his quarters with him. Why were you hiding, you may ask? You had lied. You were hurt. Pushing the both of you away from the big piece, had made you miss a smaller piece, and long story short you had a huge gash down the side of your ribs.

You grimaced as you pulled off your blood-soaked undershirt, looking in the mirror as it oozed the sticky red substance. This was a lot bigger than you thought and it was physically awkward for you to reach, not to mention, you were running out of gauze.

Your heart stopped when you heard the door to your quarters slide open. Only one other person knew the code, and you really hadn't expected said person to notice your absence so soon. Panicking, you flung your undershirt and the gauze behind the toilet, and painfully pulled your coat on, just as he gave a slight knock on the half open bathroom door.

"Y/N, are you alright?" you heard his cautious voice.

"Fine!" you chirped rather frantically, opening the door,  leaning against the counter with your bloody hands behind your back, and giving Hux a suspiciously large grin.

"That was pretty freaky wasn't it?!" you nervously laughed. Hux just looked at you. After a few moments of silence his voice broke the tension. "Why are you lying to me Y/N..?" Guilt flooded your stomach at the tone of his voice. "What?" you asked, and he responded by looking from you to the counter with a raised brow.

You internally cursed yourself. You had forgotten to hider the jar of bacta and the first aid kit on the counter.

"Kriff..."

"Show me."

You hesitated.

"Don't you trust me Y/N?"

You simply sighed still not able to look at him, but you turned around anyways, and showed him the tear in the jacket, and the wound on your side. He gasped slightly and took a step forwards, but you instantly countered the move by pressing yourself against the wall.
