I woke up to a empty bed, no Silver in sight.

Though, I do see Lucresta smiling down at me with her hands folded at her waist.

"Good morning, dear."

I sat up and looked around the room mumbling a good morning back.

Most of the morning was a big blur, jumbled of eating, talking to Finnick and Titus about what to do and not to do, and wondering who was going to be my first kill.

I wandered around until they loaded us in a car with blacked out windows and escorted us to some building, or possibly a garage, considering I knew we were under the arena already.

I was brought to a room with a large glass tube and a table, with a set of clothes on it.

"You look stressed, my dear." Lucresta surprised me.

"Well, just about to enter a fight for my life." I replied, laying out the clothes.

A black tang top, Black pants, Black shoes and a thick jacket made of a odd material I couldn't place.

Lucresta helped me into the nice fitting clothes and began to Lace the boots, as the count down over head shone a bright orange 1:00 until launching.

1 Minute of safety.

1 Minute of Innocence.

1 Minute to hold on to me.

I stood as she finished, smileing up at me. "Good luck. And remember, Things always change." Was all she had time to say before the robotic voice echoed to step into the tube.

I walked over to the glass tube and smiled at the short woman in front of me, as the tube closed up.

I mouthed a simple 'thank you'

 Hoping to show my gratitude.

She nodded back, a shinny tear slipping down her crimson skin as the plate began to rise. I stood tall, my chest puffed out, ready to win.

As the plate clicked into place, a wave of freezing cold hit me. Snow danced around in the air, burning as it touched my skin.

All around the tributes swatted away the burning flakes, as the count down began.

60,59,58,57,56,55,54,53,52,51,50.

I looked at my surroundings like Finnick told me to. Wide valleys reflected the burning snow to me as did the tall pine trees that held clumps that I'm sure would hurt like hell if it fell on you.

49,48,47,46,45,44,43,42,41,40.

I looked to my left, 4 tributes down was Sagitarria, 2 from her was Titus, next to him was Talon and Sapphire, who looked frightened like everyone else.

I smiled to myself as the robotic voice counted down, my eyes landing on the girl from 12, who stared back.

I ran my thumb across my neck and smiled wider, to frighten her.

39,38,37,36,35,34,33,32,31,30.

I braced myself for another gust of cold fire.

I pulled the flapping jacket together and zipped it, trying to look indifferent.

I looked to my right and standing on the plate next to me was Silver, eyes on the prize, the Cornucopia.

I got into a running position and waited.
