That day Daniel came home with me again to finish the project. He drove me home.
I unlocked and opened the door. "Aunt Martha! I brought Daniel back again!" I yelled, since I didn't know where she was.
"Alright, darling! I'm making supper, so I'll call you when it's done."
"Okay, we'll be in my room."
We walked up the stairs to my room. Daniel just made himself at home and sat on my bed without saying a word.
"Oh sure, just make yourself comfortable. Would you like me to serve you your supper on a silver platter, sir?" I say sarcastically.
"Oh, that would be wonderful, thank you!"
"You are so welcome."
We both laughed.
After we had finished our project Aunt Martha called us down for supper. "I beat you to the table!" I say as I jump up and run out the door as fast as possible, but when I get to the bottom of the stairs he pushed past me and sat down at the table. HOW?!
"Lillian: 2 Daniel: 1." He said with a devilish smirk on his lips.
"I'm still winning." I say.
"Stop playing around and eat your supper!" Aunt Martha says sternly but with a smile in her words.
"Thank you! That was good!" Daniel says when he finished his food.
"Yeah, thanks Aunt Martha!" I say after.
We all hear a sudden pour down of rain.
"Was it supposed to rain tonight?" Daniel asks.
"No, I don't think so." Aunt Martha replies.
I stand up and push my chair in and head for the front door.
"Lillian, where are you going?" Daniel asks.
"Come with me!" I say as I open the door.
"Okay...."
I leave the door open for him, and he steps outside and shuts it. "What are you doing?" He asks me while still standing on the porch.
"Can't you see? I'm dancing in the rain!"
"You say that as if it's normal."
"It is for me! Come join me and let the rain wash away all your troubles. It's really very calming."
"No thank you. I don't have a change of clothes."
"What a lame excuse! You know we have clothes here that fit you! Please???"
"Fine! You win! Lillian: 3 Daniel: 1."
"Yess!"
He came out into the rain with me. I know it was awkward for him at first, but he soon started to like it.

Daniel's POV:::
It was a little bit strange to join someone that's dancing in the rain...but I liked being there since Lillian was there. She made me happy despite my life. My dark life. She was the sunshine through the clouds. Though, she seemed to like the clouds.
She was the contradiction to everything I'd ever known. She seemed so quiet and shy, yet she made me feel alive with every word she spoke.
And there I was. Dancing in the rain with someone I had just met a few days ago, but it just felt so natural. So right.

{I give up with trying to name the chapters. I'm not that creative.😂}
