But through all the bullying and cruelness of other people, there was one boy who never said anything to me. Neither mean, nor nice. In fact, he never really spoke to anyone, a lot like me.
(I was now 17 in my senior year of high school.)

Jacob was the most popular boy in school, and Francesca was the most popular girl. They were the source of the worst of all the hurtful words I received. They also were cruel to the boy who never talked. I didn't know his name, but I'll tell you one thing: he was the most attractive boy I had ever seen. More than the popular boys that everyone idolized.
"You know who would be perfect for you, Lillian?" said Francesca "Little loser Danny Boy!!" Everyone has a good laugh over that. I felt sorry for him more than me. I guessed his name was Dan or Daniel.
"Alright, alright kids! Sit down and be quiet!" said our History teacher, Mrs. Potter. "We're starting a partner project on the Civil War, and NO, you cannot choose your own partner!"
"Aww come on Mrs. Potter!" Jacob said.
"None of that! The pairs will be Francesca and Julian, Leo and Toby, Daniel and Lillian...."
So I was paired up with Daniel. The boy who never spoke.
*Maybe I can get to know him. Or we could become friends!* I thought.
After class was over I approached him, but before I could speak he said "Your house at 5:00 p.m. Give me the address after school."
"Ok," I replied.
At the end of school I handed Daniel a slip of paper with my home address on it. He took it quietly, nodded, and got in his car and drove off.
When I got home I asked my mother if we could have dinner early because I had someone coming over. She didn't very well like the idea, but she complied. After we were done eating she went to her room and shut and locked the door.
Maybe about half an hour later I hear a knock on the door. I open it, and it's Daniel.
"I can stay as long as it takes to finish at least half of this project, but I don't prefer to stay all night. Where do you want to work on it?" Was what he said right when I let him in.
"That's fine. We can work in my room."
Daniel's POV:::
Lillian was beautiful. Just looking at her made me nervous. Looking into her gray eyes I saw sadness and pain. It made me hurt to see it, but she couldn't know that. I can't get close to her, or something awful might happen. No. I can't even become friends with her.
