chapter 2-just one of the founder party.

its been a week since I returned to mystic falls it was day I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself for Stefan leaving me in forks. as I was getting ready to go to the founders party Damon was taking Caroline I don't have any idea why but something in me wanted to ask him why Caroline why not me but I heard someone knock at my door pulling me back to reality I turned around to see him leaning against the door frame grinning at me. "what?" I laughed. "you look nice" he replied. "does that surprises you that I would dress up for an event like this." I asked him. I don't know he replied. I could he had something on his mind as I looked in the mirror and I grabs my purse and keys of my desk and turned around to walk downstairs to get something to drink before heading to the party. I stopped in the middle of the stairs I turned around and ask him what is on his mind. "I don't know I guess I don't really want to go to the party with Caroline." he admitted. my heart skipped a beat when he said that I have no idea why it would because I don't know no him like I know Stefan well I guess don't really know him either like I thought.

"why she is your girlfriend." I said as I was hoping that he wouldn't know how I rolled my eyes I called her his girlfriend.

"are you jealous." he grinned.

"jealous, I don't get jealous." I lied.

then I downed a drink the headed out the door when Stefan headed in to the living room I don't know why I felt guilty for kissing Damon because I'm not dating Stefan. I've been avoiding him every since I kiss Damon should I say since he kissed me. I drove to the Lockwood's mansion because the founders party was going to be there I seen my friend Tyler and Vikki Donavan in the back so I walked to see Tyler but they was in the middle of a heated conversation I just stood a little ways away waiting until they were done but Tyler's mother walked and said to Vikki sorry he gets his manners from his dad. I just look at her then Vikki left I walked over to nudge him on his side then he pulled me in for a hug I looked at him to tell him I don't like Vikki but you should have stood up for her to your mom. I am glad your back he smiles. Then we walked inside as I seen Damon with Caroline and Stefan with Elena but both of them looked me then I grabbed Tyler's arm get me out of here I asked nicely. he lead me to his dads office. he told me to wait in here as he got us something to drink.

I sat down on the couch waiting for Tyler to get here I heard the door open and close. That was quick, I sad assuming it was Tyler from getting us something to drink. when someone put their hands over my eye. Guess who? the voice whispering in my ear. I laughed, I don't know could it be Tyler I pulled his hands down then my laugh went away when I seen it was Stefan.

"what the hell." I trying to keep my voice down.

"I figured I would find out why you been avoiding me since you've been back." he replied.

"I-I haven't been avoiding you." I lied as I turned around so my back would be facing him I felt him get closer and he put his hand on my shoulder I turned back around when I heard him beg me to face him. "ugh, what do you want from, Stefan." I asked as tears beamed my eyes "I want to know why did you mean last week." he said as I looked at him confused "what do you mean last week." I ask.

"when I carried you to bed you said you were sorry." he whispered.

because. I paused for a second not knowing if I should say that I kissed Damon or lie and say that I wasn't good enough for him that why he left. I continued "because I wasn't good enough for you that why I said sorry." I lied. we heard the door opened he backed away when I notice it was Tyler back with a big bottle of wine I walked over and grabbed the whole bottle and left the room. ignoring Tyler when I left.

I tipped the bottle up to drink all of it when I notice Elena yelling at Damon I walked up to him when he was headed back inside I tried to talked to him but he ignored me then I seen Stefan standing by the pond facing it when Elena walked over I followed her to see why she yelled at Damon. then she told Stefan Caroline haves bites marks all over her body then I heard Stefan tell her I'm taking care of it.

Elena turned to walk back to the party to find me standing behind her. Harper she said smile on her face as I looked at her. "so your glad to see me" I ask as she hugged me. she replied, definitely yes. "I would have told a nicer way but I was upset about something." I explained. "its okay but why don't you come home now." she begged "no I cant go back to that place it makes me remember them and I don't want to keep thinking of them when I close my eyes." I told her when I felt my cheek getting wet. I am getting ready to leave she ask me if I was driving I said yes. I'm okay to drive home" I whine.

"I would rather you either let me take you back to where your saying or stay here for the night." she suggested. I said "fine I wont drive you can take me home." she ask he where am I staying and I told her at the Salvatore's house.

it felt like the car ride back to the house took thirty minute or so. she finally arrived and shut the car off and I got out of the car but I tripped over my purse then she ask if I needed her help getting in but I declined with laughter. n-o I stutter I got this laughing then I stared waiting until she leaves. when I tried to opening the door but failing then I fell on my butt laughing I seen a hand trying to help me up but I grabbed it and started shaking the hand.

I looked up and seen it was Stefan I smack his hand away playfully I can get up on my own I tried to get but fell back down laughing then he handed me his hand again then I grabbed it again this I pulled him down laughing he grinned at me. then he got off of the ground he help me up the third time. as he was in front of me held me so I wouldn't fall again I lean my head down on him and whispered where is Damon and he left and isn't coming back. oh okay I said has he open the door when he turned back to grabbed because I almost fell again. our lips touch I realize he didn't pull his lips away he lead me to my bed as we was kissing then I pulled away when I realize I cant do this.

"what am I doing." I asked out loud.

"harp, its okay it was my fault." he apologize.

it shouldn't have happen because you are with my sister. I screamed but he calmed me sown and told to just sleep we will talk tomorrow if you want. he help me on my bed and covered me up and I close my eyes before he kissed my forehead goodnight he whispered as he was walking toward the door to leave I called out his name he turned to look at me. I asked "if he will stay until I fall asleep." he came back and laid down over the blanket. I dosed off but I felt Stefan watching me sleep and he tried to get up but I put my hand over him.

"I miss you." I whispered in my sleep.
