Chapter 9-the memory

Harper pov.

I got woken by Elena coming in my room waking me up for work I jumped up went to put clothes on and went to the bathroom to get sick and I washed my mouth out before grabbing some coffee and got my keys and headed out the door. I got to work I saw Matt I looked at him confused. don't you have school today I asked he shakes his head nope today is Saturday. ah I smiled surprise I turned the sign that close around so it can say open and Matt put toilet paper in the bathroom stall while I put down the chairs and wiped the counter off and the tables.

people started coming in and I grabbed a pad and I walked to the first costumer but I forgot a pen so I went back to the counter to reach behind it to get a pen I went to walk back to the costumer table but I saw Damon walking toward me as I was talking someone's order and he asked if we could talk for a minute I would love to but I'm working at the moment and went to the next table as he went to the bar to compel the bartender to give him drinks for free. I shook my head and I went to give the cook the orders and I whispered to Damon don't compel anyone else. I heard Elena and Stefan laughing I looked over at them and Jacob was with them and the rest of our friends was over there. I walked over take there order and I looked at Stefan to ask if he can take his brother home I don't want him to do anything stupid like pick a fight for no reason but Stefan said that he cant and I rolled my eyes.

I went to give the order to the cook and pick up the other orders and take it to the tables as I turned back around Damon glared at me I looked at him I walked up to him asked what and he whispered why would I pick a fight I don't pick fight with anyone or are you worried that I will say something to your friend Jacob. I looked at him I need to get back to work can you not bring him up every time I am talking Ito you I said we will discuss this later okay I will come over after I am off work I promise.

I walked up to Matt and asked him what time do I get off he said when we close I looked at the ground and walked away saying okay. after Damon left I focus on get the job done. two hours as pass since I got to work and I am already tired but I still have five hours of work then I have to go to Damon to talk ugh. as I worked the time went by fast it was about closing time I turned the signed around so it would say close and I put up the chairs I asked Matt if I can go already and he motion me to leave.

I walked out side to my car and started it up and headed to Damon's. I pulled up and got out to walk in but I opened the door the light were off I shut the door behind me. I yelled Damon I'm here he still didn't came I walked up to his room there he was sleeping on the bed. I walked and looked at him I kicked the bed wake up Damon I shouted he turned over so I hit his bare skin back he jumped up. I looked at him you wanted to talk so talk I'm here like I promise.

well first off don't ever hit my back again and for two I wanted to talk to you about us he shouted at me. I looked at him what about us I asked he stared in my eyes and I want us to be more then friends. are you sure you want to be together I asked he nodded I jump into his arms but I got down to let him know I will see him tomorrow I am tired I let out. but he grabs my waist and pulls me in for a kiss and said you can sleep here. I climbed into his bed and close my eyes.

I was at the bonfire with my friends and with my sister Elena. she is dating Matt and I went to walk and call my mom and dad but Jenna picked up the phone then handed it to my mom I asked mom if she could come get us Elena and Matt had a fight about the future and I just want to go home and we are on out way they both said.

we are on our way back home something made my dad go over the bridge and I'm scared I shout at my dad he looked back at both of me and my sister said it will be okay I promise you. I was trying to reach for my dads hand but the water was trying to pull me from them I saw my dad trying break his window but it wouldn't break. a guy was by his window trying open it but my dad pointed to the back seat. the guy opened it up as I closed my eyes I felt him pulling me out of the car. I felt someone shaking my body.

Damon was shaking me up I opened my eyes I sat up I walked out to the library to get some bourbon Damon followed me out there trying to talk to I push me away. just drop it please I begged him. it was just a bad dream I shouted I looked over to see Stefan walking downstairs rubbing his eyes what going he asked. I said nothing go back to bed please I begged.

they both looked at me I just a bad dream I began to I'm fine really I'm fine as tear began to fall from my eyes I sat down on the couch and I felt both of their eyes on me one sat across from on the table and the other sat on the arm of the couch and when I felt someone touch my back I flinched. I looked to the ground and looked up in to Stefan's eyes your the one that save my sisters and mine life I got up why I said over and over again. he look at me why what he asked why did you save me and not them I yelled it is all my fault I shouted as I dropped to the floor Damon came over putting both hands on my face making look into his eyes its not your fault it just happen no one is to blame it going to be okay he said pulling me into his arms.

Damon pov

I pulled her into my arms and looked at Stefan then helped her up and walk her back into the bedroom. she just laid there not sleeping or talking I want to help her but I don't know how to with out doing one thing I don't want to do. I just laid by her all night and she never shut her eyes I watched her all night. I text Elena about her sister and she didn't text me back.
