chapter 16-karaoke night

harper pov

I was at my house got woken up by Elena coming in my room throw up the curtain to shine in my room I toss to my side and pull the cover over my head.

"you need to get out of bed harper" I grabbed my pillow and threw at her but she dodge it. I got up use the bathroom then decided to write in my journal.

dear journal,

it has been almost a full month since jakes wedding and damon propose to me. but I didn't get to answer him because I got sick. I'm starting to worry that he change his mind because he hasn't even brought it back.

I put my journal away when I heard a soft knock as they opened the door.

"do you want some pancakes" Stefan came in looking at me as I was about to cry. I don't want pancakes I am just going to Tyler's I need to talk to him I said before walking pass him to head downstairs.

as I hit the bottom stair Stefan behind me I heard Damon in the kitchen I turn to see him talking to Elena and he just stared at me and continue to talk with her I turned around rolling my eyes and I ask Stefan if he could drive me over to Tyler's he looked over at Damon noticing that he was staring at us.

"you don't need his permission to give me a ride"

so we both walked outside and he got on his motorcycle and he looked at me come on get on the back of it giving me a helmet. I turned to look at the house I notice Damon was looking out the window and I got on the bike behind Stefan and hanged on to Stefan really tight so I wouldn't fall.

when we arrived I got off and smiled at Stefan thanks again I grin walking to knock on Tyler's door.

knock knock

Tyler answered the door in his boxers. really answer the door with nothing on how dare you I laughed walking in, my laugh turned into crying. next thing I know is that I was crying on my best friends shoulder. he put his hand on my back to comfort me.

you know how me and Damon went out of town to a wedding I sobbed.

yes he nodding.

he asked me to marry him but I got sick and he haven't brought it up since we been back before I got sick I was going to tell my answer but I am afraid that he wont want to I cried even harder.

he felt him pulling me into a hug and telling it will be okay. I looked up at him with watery eyes I want to do something tonight please Tyler like old times I begged him and pulling up but first you need to get some pants on before I go out in public with you I laughed.

one hour later

about damn time I was about to send a recue time to find you I grinned as he came walking downstairs he cleared his throat.

so what do you want to do he asked before we walk out side. I shrugged my shoulders maybe we can go to the grill I heard they're gonna have karaoke. as we drove there we climb to walk in and grabbed a table. I asked him to go get us some drinks but bring me back two shot of bourbon and one beer. I was listening to people sing and Caroline and bonnie got up to sing Caroline sang a song to represent her and her love life Tyler finally got back and I down the shots back to back he told me to slow down but all I did was laugh I started to drink my beer when I saw Stefan and Elena I yelled at them to come over and sit with us. my beer was at the half way mark when I looked at Elena and ask why is Damon talking her and not me. as she was about to say something I got up.

"I will be back in a minute"

I downed my beer before walking to get another shot. on second thought make that two shots of bourbon I shouted to the bartender as I glanced across the bar. I downed it when I notices Damon was over at my table and as I finished the bourbon I ran up to the stage when he looked at me.
