chapter 6-school carnival

Harper pov

I woke to a smile on my face because I decided that I was going to start over I started to write in my journal and I got a text saying good morning beautiful from Damon I smile. I needed to talk to Stefan before anything happens with Damon finally put my past to rest. I picked up my phone and called Stefan.

"hey." he answer.

"we need to talk its important can we meet now at the grill." I asked.

"yes, I will be there." he replied.

I hanged then got dress and went to the bathroom to wash my mouth out and went to get my keys with out waking anyone up. I got in my car, started it up and drove to the grill.

I sat down was waiting on Stefan when I heard hey behind me I stood up and gave him a hug. I had a look in my eye and he knew something was up but it have to be done I looked at Stefan and we cant keep doing what we are so for me can we just be friends and forget that we even dated before you guys did and just for me so I can move on with my life I want to be happy and I cant if you keep secretly kissing or saying that you love. I knew when I said what I did it would hurt him but he understood. then he left the table then I called damon to see if he what to hang out but he didn't answer. I decided to drive over there and I got out of the car and I went up to the door to see Damon and some girl that look like me getting ready to leave. I pushed pass her as damon looked at her and grabbed her throat and pushed her up against.

Damon I yelled. what are you doing. I asked as he looked at me he said harper I would like you to meet Katherine.

my eyes shot opened and watched Damon throw her out. I looked at him why do I look like her and most importantly why was she here this early I said with a tear shining in my eyes. he looked at the ground then my heart began to break. how can Damon not tell the different. I was got ready to walk passed him when he grabbed my hand don't leave please I heard him whispered.

"give me one reason I shouldn't walk out the door." I muttered.

he lean to kiss me slowly then he pulled away I was walking toward the suddenly I turn back and ran to him and kissed him as my mouth was on the lips he use his super to push me up on the wall he makes my body move up and down then he turned to another wall my back is still on it he kisses body which me moan then he used hos super strength to ripped off. He laid me on his bed then took off his shirt and he kissed my body and we continue taking turns being on top then we had sex.

after we got done I was tired so I was getting up to dress he looked at me with that big smile on his face I looked at him and said that does not make up for you not noticing that that bitch wasn't me. I smirked at him but he gave me a kiss. he walked me out I needed to get back home.

I drove home and I heard someone in the kitchen I headed in there to get a glass of water and I seen John in there I thought you were leaving I smirked he said he is.

my phone ring I went to answer it and John was trying to apologize for almost killing demon and Stefan and I rolled eyes because I could care less if he was sorry for almost killing my friends and I asked where was Elena and Jenna and Jeremy. he looked at me and said Jenna is at class and Elena is at the carnival getting ready and Jeremy is upstairs in his room. I went up there ignoring John presence. I knocked on Jeremy's door but he didn't open I opened the door seeing him smoking I stormed over pulling the joint away from him.

"what the hell." I yelled.

"what is your problem." he asked like I'm not suppose to get mad because he is get high.

I am going to the carnival soon as I get a ride from a friend. do you want to come? I asked before I walked out of his room and into mine but he decline. I walked in my room and my phone buzz it was Elena seeing where I was I said heading out the door. which wasn't a completely lie I would be heading our the door but I went to walk in my room to get my keys and I jump when I seen Damon when I turned around.

"dammit Damon you scared me." I laughed as I playfully hit him in the arm.

he smiled at me and I told him I don't have time right now I have to get to the carnival. he looked at I can take you if you want I looked at him as he swooped me off my feet and said hang on.

he used his super speed to get me there then he put me down as soon as we got there I saw Elena I walked away from him to help Elena out. I could feel him looking at me as I walked away.

Damon pov.

look at her move something was making me want her more and more but I didn't know what was about her that made me want her. Damon I heard Stefan yelling my name bringing me back to reality. I turned to see him walking over here I walked over to meet him but I was people standing around couple people arm wrestling and we stared at them then Tyler's uncle Mason beat his nephew at arm wrestling and he ask who is next and I pointed at Stefan and said he will and Stefan sit across from mason. I heard Stefan tell Mason that I think he can beat him when Stefan was done we walked away from the crowd he told me that Mason was stronger than him so I saw a guy I ask him to come to me and I compelled him to picked a fight with Tyler Lockwood and don't back down no matter what.

Harper pov

I finished up with the carnival I looked around for a bit then I ran into Stefan I ask if he seen Damon and he said not in a while so I walked away and I went in to the school to see if he was in there he was on the floor I ran over to him kneeling by him and I asked him what happened and said your friend Caroline. I looked at him confused. she is a vampire now he let out.

"what" I stood up to walk out to find her but Damon yelled no it is dangerous getting up off the ground. but she needs help I let out and he looked at me and put both hands on my cheeks I will help promise he reassure me then I felt his lips on mine for a minute then he was gone.

I ran to find Elena and Stefan and told them that Caroline a vampire now and we went to the parking lot to find Caroline and Stefan tackle Damon and me and Elena looked at Caroline and saw a dead body on the ground and Caroline next to it Bonnie came over to see what was going on she saw the dead body and Elena looked at Stefan told him to get her clean up. I heard Bonnie chanting and I looked over seen the water hoses on and I kept asking her was she doing and "I heard her tell him I told you if someone else gets hurt I will take you out" then I seen fired started and I went by him but the reached him I yelled at Elena to get her to stop. after she finally stop I helped him off the ground.

let me get you out of here I said looking at him he walked me home up to my front door I unlocked the door and turned to him do you want to come in. he looked to the ground shaking his head no. I walked inside closing the door behind me. tears escape my eyes. I walked upstairs to lay down but I couldn't sleep so I wrote in my journal.

dear journal,

today Caroline killed someone because someone turned in to a vampire then my friend Bonnie almost killed Damon again. I hope he doesn't blame me for what happened I tried to stop Bonnie but she didn't listen to me Elena had to shake her. I keep thinking about Damon I hope we can get pass that.

I heard a door shut and I went to my door opened it a crack and look through it and Stefan and Elena was coming upstairs. i notice Elena was going to open my door to see if i made it home. so i went over to my desk to act like i was writing still but i looked at the time and it was late so i laid back in bed and i left the light on and i drifted off to sleep.

Stefan pov

i went upstairs with Elena but when she opened Harpers door i saw her up. we walked into Elena's room and i started kissing her but something in me told me pull away now. i ignored that feeling until we laid down then i stood up and backed away from her i decide to tell her that i am tired but the truth is i didnt want to do anything with her sister right down the hall and awake at that so i gave up a kiss goodnight and walked out of her room.

i saw that Harper light was still on so i opened her door hoping that she would be up but she was asleep so i walked over by her bed and whispered in her ear goodnight sleep tight so i reached over to her light and turned it off then covered her up then walked home.
