Damon pov

its been a long time since I have felt anything like this I have been thinking about asking Harper the biggest question that could possibly doom our relationship or make it better for us. I grabbed my phone to call Elena as I waited for her to answer took a drink of bourbon.

"hello" she said

"hey Elena can I see you tonight I need to ask you something."

"hmm, yeah I will come over for a little while give me a minute."

"okay see you later but don't mention nothing to Harper please just trust me."

"okay you got twenty minute."

as I waited on her to get there I went down to the fridge to get a blood bag I took a blood bag up there and pour some blood in a glass and I look at Elena coming in the door. why so secretive she asked.

"I would like to ask her to marry me I don't know if it is too soon or what"

"well do you love her"

"yes I am in love with her"

"then I say if you are happy with my sister than ask her I am happy for both of you"

we hugged each other then she left so I finish my blood bag then threw it away I got a text from Harper saying that don't forget that we are going to forks for Jacobs wedding. I thought to self I will I ask her at his wedding. I text her back to find out who all is coming and she text me back to say Elena and Stefan and Jeremy are coming with us. I text back saying when will we leave to head for forks. she told me that we have to hit the road so get my ass over there. man I love that woman I whispered as a smile came across my face.

Harper pov.

I walked to the door when I heard Elena coming in so I walked over and so why did Damon, my boyfriend, call you, my sister, so early in the morning if he isn't in love with you I shouted.

trust me Harper he isn't in love with me he is in love with you she reassured me. I walked into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee when she told he is just worried that you might be having more dreames I looked up at her well im not since ive got back i let out. I looked at stefan who was making them breakfast before leaving I ask are they going to ride with us and Elena said no I think we will take another car.

I walked up stiars to get my phone and my suitcase to put by the front door but opened jer door to see if he wanted to ride with Damon and i and he shook his head so I walked downstairs to see Damon standing at the door and he helped me with my bag and I looked at Elena and Stefan and it looked like they was hiding something from me but what was it I have to find out what they was hiding.

as we headed out the door to get in his car he opened up the door and close it behind me. I stared out of the window as he focus his eyes on the road every now and then I felt his eyes on me and hand on my thigh I glance at him and lean over to kiss him as my lips are moving up against his I climbed up on his lap as he continues to drive. I jumped back in my seat when he hit the shoulder of the road watch the road I laughed. he glance at you are the one who distracted me by climbing on me and kissing like that he smiled.

I went back to glaring out of my window and he ask me what was wrong I glance at him and said I just have this feeling like people isn't telling something because they are trying to protected me but I don't need protection from anything I let out. he eyes went back to the road I grabbed my phone to call Jacob and let him know that we are almost there and he said okay I'm bringing Damon with me if that okay I breath out and he said okay. I hung up the phone after saying don't say anything my cousins.
