chapter 4-dinner with the family.

I woke to write in my journal but couldn't think of what to say so I decided to ask someone for advice I thought of calling tyler but I wasn't sure if he was at football practice or not. I didn't have anyone else to call so I did what Stefan didn't want I walked down in to the basement I opened the celler door I looked at damon I need your advice do you want bourbon I ask as I walked up to the living room leaving the door opened. you coming or staying I ask. as I pulled two glasses I gave one to damon. I downed my and he looked at so what did you need my help with. "hmm, should I forgive my family for lying to all my life." "if your asking that you don't need advice" he replied with a smiled. "just go over and talk if you want me to I will go with you." he suggested. "yeah, I would love that." I answer.

I grabbed my phone and my key. are you not going to go out anywhere until I get back I am going to go get your ring. promise me you wont please. I begged him. he said yes I wont leave. I walked to my car as I climb in my phone rings.

"hello" I answer my phone.

"harper." elena said.

"elena is Stefan with you I really need to talk to him." I ask'

she gave the phone to Stefan hello, what is wrong. he asked.

well I'm asking for your friend and ex. can you please give damon another chance please bring back his ring.

ugh fine one more chance. ill bring in a minute. he gave in.

ehhh thank you so much I love you.. I hang up the phone after I realize what I just say.

I got out of my car and ran back inside and damon was in the living room and I went to hug him but I jump as he picked me up he is bringing it so try not to piss your brother off okay. I was smiling because I didn't have to see damon in pain anymore. I ask if he would put me down but I wasn't I wasn't specific so took and put me down on my bed. I laughed. "you do know I'm not ready for anything right." I said nicely. "I hear his car outside." damon grinned.

he use his super speed to get his ring from his brother. I wasn't faster then his but I said don't do anything remember we talked about. so Stefan gave damon his ring back and I looked at elena and said jenna that I want come over and talk and I'm bring damon with me.

Elena P.O.V

I looked at harper as if I was shocked that she would want to go to dinner with jenna but has been awhile since she been back I am glad I had my sister back even if was mad at for some reason. I want her to move back in to the house with me but I cant force her to. I look at Stefan when he heard her say he was bringing Damon to dinner like he was hurt. I hurt that he looked at her like she was his. "I am getting to leave" I looked at Stefan and gave him a kiss. I headed out to my car and started it up and drove back home.

I arrive home to look for Jenna to let her harper is coming to dinner with Damon to talk. I went upstairs after telling Jenna to get ready to eat dinner my sister and Damon. I hopped in the shower then got out I heard a knocked at the front door and then I got dress and straighten my hair and pulled it up in a ponytail and went downstairs to see Stefan and his brother and my sister in the living room. I felt like everyone was looking at me but Stefan came over and plant his lips on mine.

I went to put a movie in because Jenna is cooking I looked back to kitchen and Stefan ask her if he could help she declined his help so we all sat down to watch a movie called cabin fever. the movie was almost over when I heard Jenna say dinner done I got off of Stefan lap and went to set the table Stefan helped me. thirty minute in to dinner I heard Damon clear his throat looking at harper.

harper P.O.V

I looked over at Damon after he clear his throat I looked at Jenna

so the reason came is because I want to apologize to all of you I wanted to say it in a calm way but I kind of got upset about something else when I was walking here. but if I move back in I'm doing want then looked at Damon his eyes narrowed at me. so I finally gave in to move back. I got ready to get up when I felt a hand on mine and I looked at Damon and said I need to get my stuff. as I walked out the door I heard Damon right behind me following me.

that wasn't bad I heard him say before shooting a glare let just go.

Damon p.o.v

I drove her home but I looked at her leaning against the window looking out like she wanting to stay at the boarding house but she needed to be with her family. she looked like Elena but different with her hair curly and light blue eyes but she acted like Katherine a lot like Katherine but different I want to get to know harper but to do that she needs to move back home as I parked the she climbed out and slammed the door behind her. I sighed harper are you alright. she looked I heard her heart beating fast. she didn't answer until I followed into her room.

"you want me to gone I'm gone. don't pretend to give a damn about if I am alright."

"I just want you be with your family because when it counts family is all anyone can trust."

I gave a kiss on her forehead before walking downstairs I heard her heart jump I think she was start have feelings for me but I don't to hurt her so I walked away with a pain in my stomach, I pulled some bourbon in a glass and I heard Stefan walk in he ask where was she I pointed up to the room. I heard them talking Stefan told her don't say anything to anybody about us being a vampire. she said she would our secret.

as she walked out of the door I felt something come over me I was in front of her before I knew it I kissed her before she left. the kiss was unreal it was like the world just stop and it was just her and me. the I pulled away and she opened the door and got in and started her car and drove away. I went back inside where Stefan was at waiting on me then he punched me across the room.

harper p.o.v

I arrive at the house and Elena came out and grabbed my bags and helped me to me room and I told them I was going to sleep so I went in to my room after getting ready for bed to see Stefan sitting on the edge of the bed I jump and shut the door behind me so no one seen Stefan.

"do you have feeling for him?"

"what" I whispered.

"you heard me." he glared at me before getting up of my bed. I backed up tell I felt the door behind me.

you cant be serious right now. I said as I looked in his eyes you don't get to ask me that I whispered. your with Elena. I heard someone in the hallway knock on my door and he was gone. I climb in to bed before turning my light out.
