chapter 33

"stop. dont hurt them. here." dr. strange said. my eyes widened as he gave them the stone. the big guy dropped as and grabbed the stone. he left with the stone and we couldnt stop him. "why did you do that?" tony asked. "im not really sure." he answered. my peter ran over to help me up. "shit. hes close. all that we know he would only need one more." i said. everyone looked down. i sat down on a rock and put my head in my hands and breathed out. "hes going to do it." we heard an unfamiliar voice say. "he has the space stone, the power stone, the reality stone, the soul stone, and now the time stone. he needs one more. and nobody can stop him from doing it." i look up and notice the girl. she was blue and had many parts of her body replaced with electronical stuff. star lord ran over to her. "where is she?" he asked. she looked down. "he killed her. shes gone." she said. "how do you know?" he asked. "i don't actually. but hes cruel enough to do it." she said. he looked down. "you think you know me dont you?" we heard a deep voice say. i look over to the large man coming towards us. peter steps in front of me and puts his hand out. "thanos. how welcoming of you to join us." tony said. thanos looks over at tony. "tony stark. the pleasure is all mine. thank you again for this gem. it's quiet beautiful isnt it?" he asked. "havent your mother told you its not polite to play with your food?" i asked. he looks over at me and peter. "is he supposed to protect you. how adorable. young love am i right? " he said. he rolls his eyes. "what are you doing here?" the girl asks. except he had no time to answer becuase we already made a move. peter swung his web around thanos hand with the gauntlet and tied it to a post. some how, i wasnt paying attention, we had him stuck. the alien placed her hand on his head to calm him. "he feels a pain. a lost. he misses somebody and he morns them greatly." she said outloud. me tony and peter try to get the gauntlet off. we feel it start to move. "no. no." star lord said walking towards thanos. "i had too....." he whispered. i look at peter then back at quill. "you didnt love her. that wasnt love." quill said. now angry. thanos tried to say something but coudlnt get it out. quill continued to talk and talk but it only fired up thanos. just as we were about to get the gauntlet off thanos yells and pushes us all of and the alien goes flying. peter runs after her trying to catch her while the rest continue to fight off thanos. thanos throws me against a wall and looks at me. "you better tell your boy you love him now and get whatever you want to get out because soon one of you two might not be here." and he walks away and into a portal thingy. i get up and we all meet up. "this is what we have to do-" tony started but got interrupted by dr. strange. "theres no use." he said. we looked down. peter comes back with the girl. he was a while away. i start to run to him. it was like thats all i wanted to be. i jumped into his arms and started to cry. knowing than one of us will never be able to feel this again. "i love you. so so much." i said. "are you okay?" he sets me down and looks at me in my eyes. "thanos said that one of wont be here to say much more." i explained. he grabbed me again and hugged me. this time i felt him crying as well. "i love you more than anything." he said. i smiled as i loved those words from him. i lean down and kiss him on his lips. we stayed there for a long time. not ever wanting to let go. we heard a cough. "say goodbye please" dr. strange said. he turned to dust right before our eyes. we walk over to everyone else. "whats going on?" i ask. "he did it." the girl said. my eyes go wide. "uhh quil." drax said. he looked at his hands and they disappear. "uhh i don't feel so good." peter said and falls on me. i couldn't stand him up so we both fell. "i don't want to go. i don't wanna leave you." i heard his voice crack tears flow down my face. " ill bring you back i promise. i love you." i say quickly. "i love you too" he said. i lean down and kiss him and before i know it his lips disappear and so does he. i scream and put my head in my hands. no. no no no no no no. this cant be the end. i wont let it be. he isn't gone. no. i pick up the dust left behind. this cant be him. i start to cry even harder. eventually tony comes over to me. "kid. hey kid cmon." he said. "we need to go home." he said. i couldn't move. i couldn't get up. i wanted to die. peter was my world. he was my everything what am i supposed to do. tony picks me up and carries me to the ship. after we pick up the rest of the avengers (all 5 of them) we have a reunion. Steve stops at me. he looks at me. "im sorry." he said. i looked down. "hes changed. he isn't like that anymore. if he was i wouldn't let him-" i cut him off by hugging him. "its okay." i whisper. he rubs my back and kisses me on the forehead. "im sorry. for you lost" he said. i nodded. everybody hugged me. Wanda came last. she was a crying mess. just like me. we both look at each other and immediately hug one another. we both cry for a while in each others arms. it felt good. to share the same amount of pain with someone else. she got it.

i sat there thinking of peter and i, how was i going to tell michelle. i had a bowl with peters dust in it and in my pocket was his mask. i kept rolling to dust around in the bowl. "hey kid." tony said coming over to me. "i know its hard." i look down and a tear drops into the bowl. " we were gonna start a family. we were about to get married." i said through sobs. tony rubs my back. "this isnt it. this isnt the end. i wont let it be. i promised him i would bring him back. and thats what im going to do."
