Chapter 31

we sit down at a very nice table, secluded from everyone else. the waiter asked if we wanted wine but we were only 20 so we had to refuse. i smiled at peter as i took a sip of my water. "i love you. you know that?" he said. i chuckled. "peter are you okay? you have said that too me like 12 times just tonight. are you gonna die or something?" i asked. he looked down and breathed out. "Evelyn, i love you so much. when i first met you i knew there was something about you. but i just couldn't quiet figure out why everyday of every night i would think about you and i couldn't stop. no matter how hard i tried to get you out of my mind i wouldn't stop thinking about you. and when you would walk into the room or smile at me or we would make slight eye contact with each other in the middle of class, my heart would skip a beat and when we were or are together nobody matters except for us. its like when i hold you, i know that in the end everything is going to be okay cause i got you and you got me. and when i asked who you liked and you described me, i thought theres no way but then this night came by where i couldn't wait anymore and so i went to your house and i kissed you and it was magic. i could feel all my problems go away and i could practically feel my heart and your heart sync up. and it was like my hurt burst but it was all okay because right then and right there it was just me and you. and i feel like that every time i kiss you. we were so close to having a family. so why don't we try again? because Evelyn, i love you with all of my heart. i will go to the ends of the earth to make you happy. i would do anything and everything to see you smile. i would do anything you can think of to see you walk down that aisle in a white dress and look down at the ground and smile you always do and look up at me because we're getting married. i will do anything to hear you say i do as long as i get to say it right after. as long as i get to see you grow beautifully old. as long as i get to kiss you forever. So Evelyn Rose Stark, will you do me the absolute honor and marry me?" he got down on one knee at the end and opened a box to reveal the most gorgeous ring i've ever seen. i had tears streaming down my face as i was laughing. he has hope in his eyes as well as tears. i smiled ear to ear. "yes. yes. yes! yes! a thousand times yes!" i said. he smiled and we both got up and he hugged me and held me for a while. he kissed the back of my head. "god i love you." i said to him. i heard him chuckle. "i love you more." he argued. i pulled away but he still held on to my waist. "thats not possible.". i leaned in to kiss him but he stopped me. "nobody could ever love anything as much as i love you." he argued back. i rolled my eyes playfully. "yeah right parker." i said. he smiled into our kiss. i heard hoots and hollers all around me but i didn't care. all i cared about in this moment was me and peter.
