Dark Past Arc Chapter 21: Goodbye Past! Hello Future!

Ushio: *Thinking* Where the hell did this extra power come from! I need to act and I need to act fast. I think it's safe that these two can be deemed as threats to the public. I'm going to have to use that power. Ground: Bloodstream Pillar!

Ushio's arm turned into a pillar and stopped their fists from hitting him. He added more gravel from the ground to make it stronger and longer to put a distance between him and them. It was that powerful that it slammed both of them to the wall. He sent ground daggers there way and to add more damage. Keiji was the only one to get hit full on but Keiichi, being the more determined one, picked him self up and sent a red bolt towards the daggers and made his way back towards Ushio. The red steam swirled around Keiichi's hands and arms but this time red bolts surrounded him as well. Ushio' Ground: Bloodstream Pillar returned to the same length as his arm so that he take on Keiichi's attack. Crash! They both are locked in a muscle match to see who can outweigh one another.

Keiichi: Just give up and die so I can be happy with Mai!

Ushio: I wouldn't let her be with a crazy idiot like you!

Keiichi: Shut up! Look you are a Military's Weapon but you can't even take me on. How does that make you feel.

Ushio: And How does it make you feel that you are taking me on when I'm already injured from another fight. Does it make you feel weak?!

Keiichi: No! I'm using it as an advantage!

*At Athletic Burger*

Mai: I know that this is a delicate question to ask but Yui how are you feeling after learning the truth?

Yui: Well, It was a really big shock and even though I don't agree with what my father did when he snapped out of control I forgive him. I want to be stronger like him as well.

Miyasaki: Him?

Yui: I want to be strong like Ushio. He was able to help me even though he didn't know what he was getting into. He was able to take my father and brother head on and most of all he was able to assemble all of us here to cheer us up even though he still injured. If it wasn't for him I probably won't be able to leave my dark past behind.

Mai: He seems to have that fact.

Miyasaki: Yeah! You're right! He'll help you and won't ask for anything in return.

Seiji: I guess he's like a hero that doesn't get the praise he deserves.

Mai: There is one thing I wish he will do and that is to hurry up so we can eat!

They all laughed at that statement but they didn't really know what was actually happening to Ushio. They both were still locked in a power battle and was waiting for one to let their guard slip.

Ushio: You've got some mad jealousy you do know that.

Keiichi: Well if you were never with Mai I wouldn't have to do this.

Ushio: Will you stop going on about Mai! And you're inconsiderate as well. You made me feel like crap for the past couple of years.

Keiichi: I don't really care! Now DIE!!!!

Keiichi tensed his muscles and pushed really hard against Ushio's Bloodstream Pillar. He put both of his fists together to gain more strength. The red bolts began to shock the whole of Ushio's body and the weight of Keiichi's body pushing down on him made the most uncomfortable pain ever.

Ushio: *Thinking* Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT!!! I can lose to him! I've faced tougher opponents than him! The only way to move on from my past is to defeat him! And the only way for him to move on is for me to beat him! I'm sorry everyone! I'm sorry Akihito! How can I face them if I lose here! No! I'm not going to lose here! LET'S GO!!!!

Finding the last lease of life, Ushio gains all of the strength he has left and pushes against Keiichi's combined fists.

Keiichi: THIS IS FOR LOVE!!!!!!!

Ushio: SHUT UP!!!!!!!

Ushio mustered up strength was enough to push Keiichi off him. He shoved the square end of the pillar in Keiichi's stomach and the sent him flying. This was the end of the fight. Keiichi was now defeated. Keiji was knocked out from the ground dagger from before. 

Ushio: I guess I've now defeated my past, right.

He ran out of the construction site and headed towards the Athletic Burgers. He wasn't that far from the place so he should be there in no time but first he had to make himself look like he had not been in a scrap. Meanwhile, the others were now, after nearly an hour, starting to get worried and feel like that something bad has happened.

Miyasaki: It can't take him an hour to pick out a gift for Amari-Sensei.

Seiji: Let's go looking for him.

Ushio: There is no need, sorry for making you all wait. It suddenly got busy and I got caught up in it all.

Mai: Oh really! Will you like to tell me why there is newly developed cut on your face and that there is blood coming dripping out the side of your stomach.

Ushio: Ah! Well! Erm! I'm.....I'm Sorry!!!!!
