Dark Past Arc Chapter 2: Familiar Face

Ushio: Phew! We've finished today's work. 

Seiji: Yeah and without interruptions!

Miyasaki: Feels great to patrol once in awhile.

Ushio: I guess. Hey! Yui what's wrong?

Yui: M...Me. Oh nothing! I'm fine!

Ushio: You sure you don't look like it!

Yui: Honestly!

???: Um...excuse me but could you tell me about your adventure please! Ushio!

A unexpected voice came from behind Ushio. Who is this mysterious character?

Ushio: Huh! You.... You're Mai!

Mai: Long time no see!

Mai was a girl who is the same age as Ushio. She has aqua blue eyes and has short brunette hair. She smelt like she was wearing nice perfume to try and impress people or in this case Ushio. Miyasaki and Yui look at Mai with jealousy.

Ushio: Long time indeed. So what do you want to know.

Mai: I heard you were the one who fought the guy called Hisao both here and in the headquarters, is this true?

Ushio: Yeah, I guess.

Seiji: There's no guess about it. You did fight him both times but you're still a loser.

Ushio: Shut up! When will you get of my back!

Seiji: Oi loser! Don't talk back!

Mai: Em... Can you tell me the whole story.

Ushio: Okay but I'll shorten it down.

Ushio starts to tell Mai the story of the how him and his team prepared to fight Hisao and how they all overcame their problems. Meanwhile, in HQ Commander Sato was talking with the mysterious characters.

Commander Sato: You know why I called you both here don't you Eishun and Eita.

Eishun was the previous Flame Captain and Father to Yui while Eita is her older brother and the other previous Flame Captain. They were the people who slaughtered lots of people without any remorse. Even worse they killed their own loved ones. However, why has Commander Sato contacted them.

Eishun: No please tell us, sir.

Eita: Yeah and don't make it long!

Commander Sato: Don't need to worry about the length of this conversation Eita. You'll get to the action soon.

Eita: Fine.

Commander Sato: The reason I've asked you to come out of hiding is to test a certain someone.

Eishun: Who is it, sir?

Commander Sato: Well the person is inexperienced but somehow pulled of a win against Hisao the other day.

Eita: A newcomer, eh?

Commander Sato: Yes and his name is Ushio Akagi.

Eishun: I see but why do you want us to test him.

Commander Sato: I want to see if he is worthy of my time. He is like a diamond hidden in the rough but we need to give him a nice clean before he is added to the collection.

Eishun: I understand. You just give us the word and we will go after him and make sure he is the person you're looking for.

Commander Sato: Thank you very much. You're dismissed.

Eita: Don't keep us waiting to long!

Commander Sato: By the way, did you know that Ushio hangs around with your daughter, Eishun.

Eishun: He hangs around with that weakling.

Eita: I wish she got killed instead of mum.

Eishun: She has no right to become the Flame Captain. You know that don't you, sir.

Commander Sato: Of course! I gave her Creation over Flame so she knows that we don't associate her with you.

Eishun: Good because if she did inherit a flame type power... I would of killed you and her.

Commander Sato: Scary! But you do know that I would finish you in a moment don't you.

Eishun: Yes, sir.
