Dark Past Arc Chapter 9: Reunion

Ushio: Huh. Where am I?

Akihito: Ah, you're awake. You're are far below HQ. 

Ushio: Who are you?

Akihito: You've got some nerve asking since you came to where I live and caused pure destruction. 

Ushio: *Sweat dripping from his face* S...Sorry. Wait! What happened to them bastards!

Akihito: I saved you and then pushed them back. After I injured both of them, they both retreated and now we are here.

Ushio: Okay thank you for saving me. My name is Ushio Akagi.

Akihito: My name is Akihito, one of the Military's Elite.

Ushio: N...No way!!!

Akihito: Yep that's right. I'm the Ground Master.

Ushio: The same type as me. Ouch.

Akihito: Ah don't move too much. I'll get you to the nurses office in HQ now.

Ushio: Thank you very much.

After their short discussion, Ushio leans on Akihito to get some balance and starts to walk to the lift inside Akihito's base area. As they both entered the lift, Ushio starts to think about how much everyone must be worried and he even promised Mai he'll not get himself into too much danger. He feels that he's broken that promise and feels he won't be able to face Mai straight in the face anymore.

Ushio: Hey Akihito. Have you've broken a promise?

Akihito: Of course. I know it's nothing to be happy about but sometimes promises are meant to be broken. Why?

Ushio: I promised my friend, Mai, that I won't get into anything too dangerous and then this happened.

Akihito: I wouldn't worry about that. It wasn't something you could avoid.  If you are really feeling bad about this then apologise from the bottom of your heart.

Ushio: Thanks.

They both have finally reached to the top of the lift and made their way towards the nurses office. As they got there, Ushio was rushed to the emergency area to get looked at. They asked who tutors him, but since Akihito didn't even know that he told them what his name was. They searched the records to find who his leader is and found out it was Amari-Sensei. Akihito decided it was best that he told him where he was as he wants to find out more about Ushio and why Eishun and Eita targeted him.

*In the meet-up room*

Amari-Sensei: It's nearly 12 in the morning and there is still no sign of where Ushio is?

Seiji: This is getting really serious now. How the hell can we get in contact with him! The idiot didn't take his phone so there is literally no way of finding him.

*Knock on the door*

Akihito: Hello? Is this Amari's room.

Amari-Sensei: Oh! Yes it is.

Akihito: Long time no see, Amari.

Amari-Sensei: A...Akihito-Senpai! What brings you here?

Akihito: Well you see, I have found your student called Ushio Akagi. He was fighting in my base with someone and I saved him from near death.

Everyone: What?!

Akihito: At the moment he is intensive care in the nurse's office and there is no telling in what condition he will be in. However, don't worry I have every faith that he is in safe hands and will make a great recovery.
