Captain Succession Trials Arc Chapter 4: Restraint!

As the flames beat Yui's thick shield, she now knows that she needs to think more carefully about her heat resistor weapon since now she only has a two chances left to think of a good weapon.

Captain Genjiro: Do you want to know the temperature of my flames?

Yui: Go on.

Captain Genjiro: 9000 °F.

Yui: What! That's the highest temperature of flame you can get! The same as....

Captain Genjiro: Dicyanoacetylene.

Ushio: You're kidding!

Akihito: Nope! What he said was true. That's why he was the best replacement for Eita.

Seiji: So is he stronger than....Eishun.

Akihito: I'd say that he's on par with him.

Seiji: That's amazing power as I'd expect from a Military Elite.

Ushio: Wait! Does he mean his Military Special Weapon or just his flame attacks in general.

Akihito: His flame attacks in general.

Ushio and Seiji: A....Amazing!

Now that she knows that his flames are that high in temperature, Yui thinks that her best option is to create a thermal cover. The light glows once again and the weapon that popped out was a black flame resistor blanket that was 100 millimetres thick. She covers her self over with the blanket and says she is ready.

Captain Genjiro: Military's Special Weapon! Flame: Lions Shotput!

Seiji: Wait isn't that different than what he chanted before.

Akihito: Well you can have as many Military Special Weapons as you want. You can even turn your normal attacks into special attacks as well.

Ushio: Really!

Akihito: Yeah! For example, if Ushio wanted to make his Ground: Bloodstream Pillar a lot stronger he would have to turn it into a Military Special Weapon. However, it would take a lot of training to do this and the downfall is that it can take very much power to use it. Once you maintain a stable amount of power you can use it more freely. Mainly the Military Elites can only use so many different Special Weapons at one given time.

Ushio: I see.

A ball of flame which looked the size of a shotput, that made a shape of a male lions face, formed in the palm of Captain Genjiro's. He bent down and lifted himself back up and threw the flame to where Yui was cover. The shotput luckily hit the side of Yui's stomach so it was that painful. However, the flame started to spread really quickly and Yui's 100 millimetre thick blanket was being penetrated like there was no tomorrow. Yui quickly moved away from the blanket.

Yui: Th....That was close!

Captain Genjiro: Looks like this is your final chance. Make it a good one!

Yui: *Thinking* This is my last attempt. What do I have to do to beat him. How can I create a weapon to stop that much heat.

Captain Genjiro: I'll give you a hint young one.

Yui: Huh!

Captain Genjiro: Remember where you came from.

Yui: *Thinking* I see! My brother and father were flame captains. I think I figure it out! Let's go!!!

Captain Genjiro: You ready.

Yui: Yeah!

The flash of light came out for the final time and this time a devils pitchfork came from it. It looks like the weapon this time is more lightweight than before. Another thing that is different is the determination in her eyes. She now feels that she can win this once and for all.

Captain Genjiro: Military Special Weapon! Flame: The Lions Passion!

This time the flame came from his mouth. You could hear the almighty roar in his voice as he shot the flame out. The flames were gushing towards Yui with some speed but she put out the pitchfork like object out in front of her and the flames split in half. The only problem is that the flames are still catching her arms and both sides of her smooth cheeks. All of a sudden, a small flame appeared on her head and was burning brightly. Then the the flames from Yui went to her pitchfork and started to push back Genjiro's flames. Finally, the flames stopped and the heat resistor weapon trial was over.

Captain Genjiro: I must say that really surprised me. I guess you took my words to heart.

Yui: Yeah. You made me realise that to win you have to fight fire with fire.

Captain Genjiro: I see. Well, I must say that I'm really impressed with your tactics and to some degree you resisted my flames. So I declare that you have passed my trial!

Yui: I...I did it!!!!
