The two legal prosecutors led Lyon and Gray out of the enclosed office area and into a hospital like hallway.

"Right this way, quickly now," Destiny beckoned. The four had traveled to a door with a 'Morgue' sign stapled to the post. The eerie feeling of the imposing sign and deathly aura made Lyon feel nauseous.

  "This place..."

Asuki nodded, "I'm sorry, but it's procedure." She pursed her lips. "When we go in, please refrain from any... commentary."

Gray and Lyon bobbed their heads once, the latter biting deep into his bottom lip that he accidentally drew blood.

Destiny pushed open the door, the immediate feel and aura of death blowing at them from the entry. They walked in, Lyon trying to focus on only moving his feet. The room's walls were lined with large drawers that probably held bodies. Destiny went to the drawer marked 777, Asuki taking out a pair of keys and unlocking it with an audible click. The two women hauled open the large chamber and pulled out the table that was stored inside.

Gray eyed the lumpy form underneath the white cover, shuddering and trembling as Asuki pulled it off. He actually did let out a strangled cry at the sight of Ur's body.

Lucy's head snapped up when the door eased open and Gray and Lyon appeared through it. Both of them looked ghostly pale... sick... that couldn't have meant anything good.

There were several moments of silence—awkward, comforting... eerie?—before Asuki cleared her throat.

"We're done here," she simply, fumbling with a file as if she weren't sure what to do with it.

"Isn't this stupid," Destiny drawled, rolling her eyes. "Normally we work with children, little children, and handle out formalities with a trusted adult. Not normally, like today, we ended up with two traumatized seventeen year olds and are giving their little seventeen year old fan-club these highly confidential paperwork." She scoffed. "I hate seventeen year olds."

"R-Right," Erza was the first to speak. "I'll take those."

"You are seventeen," Destiny emphasized the syllables. "These are for an adult, not a seventeen—"

"I'm twenty three," Erza lied smoothly.

  Destiny raised an eyebrow.

"I work for that one's," she poked a finger at the unresponsive Gary. "Great Aunt Susie."

Destiny gave her an unimpressed look, "who are you fooling."

"No one," Erza held out her hand. "Wanna blood sample?"

"I would," Destiny scowled. "But drawing blood from someone in his current state would be hazardous and cause me to loose my license so, no thanks."

"So I'll be taking those," Erza swipes the files from Asuki. "And we'll be leaving."

The party turned around, Natsu steering Gray while Sherry took Lyon's hand. However, just as Lucy was about to step out of the edifice (the last one to), Asuki placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Sorry, But I had a question..." she said in an unsure voice.

  "Yes?"

"Now's probably a bad time, Ki-Ki," Destiny warned.

"But I need to know," Asuki cringed.

"Need to know what?" Lucy asked.

"P-Please forgive if I'm wrong but," she stared down, visibly looking extremely nervous. "ARE YOU LUCY HEARTFILIA?!"

Lucy's heart fell to the bottom of her stomach, melting there a moment later before dispersing back into her bloodstream for the process to repeat again.

  The woman trembled, "Are you?"

"Asuki," Destiny hissed, grabbing the Indian's hand.

  "Please tell me!" She cried.

Lucy narrowed her eyes, "No, I'm not. You're clearly mistaken."

Asuki's eyes widened and she bowed apologetically, "M-My bad then... you just look a lot like her."

Lucy scoffed, "I don't look like that Heartfilia runaway... I wish though."

"No not her," Asuki shook her head.

"Asuki please," Destiny begged. "Not now..."

"You remind me of 'that Heartfilia runaway's' Mother," she smiled reminiscently. "Layla Heartfilia."

A ring ran through Lucy's ears, the weird kind that made her breathing quicken.

"Asuki!" Destiny yelled suddenly. She turned to face Lucy. "I'm really sorry for disturbing you."

"No it's fine," Lucy turned around, shivering slightly. "Thank you for your time."

"Miss?" Asuki asked in a low voice.

  "Yeah?"

"I have a relative who teaches at Fiore Middle and High," Asuki said thoughtfully. "His name is Mest Gryder. If you could... you know..."

"Sure," Lucy said quickly, perhaps too quickly, before running through the doorway.

"What took so long?" Erza asked impatiently, crossing her arms.

"Damn those walls are sound-proof," Natsu complained. "I couldn't hear a thing."

"Eavesdropping is bad!" Lucy chided. "But anyways," she paused as she thought of a suitable lie. "The Asian one—"

"They were both Asian," Sherry scoffed. "Dumb blondes."

"Fine," Lucy deadpanned at the pink haired chick, "The Indian one. Happy?"

"Very," Sherry sneered, going back to swooning over Lyon.

(This is where everyone ignores the confused meows coming from Happy the Cat as he pokes his head out of Natsu's hood)

"Anyways, she mistook me for... someone else," Lucy said carefully.

"Who?" Erza asked the question Lucy hoped she could avoid.

Analyzing the situation, Lucy pursed her lips, "one of their old work-partners."

"Who?" Erza asked again. "You aren't avoiding the question, are you?"

Everyone looked up at her expectantly. Thanks Erza for making this even more complicated.

Lucy gapped a bit, looking for suitable excuse when, Thank the heavens!, she was interrupted.

Not so thankfully, it was by Lyon's sudden hysterical sobbing, soon followed by Gray's.

A/N: Once again I'm super sorry for the late update. School got annoying. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll see y'all next update!
