"Miss Oakes. Stop daydreaming please." My art teacher snapped in my face.
"Oh sorry Ms.Jacklynn. What were you saying?" I asked.
"I said that your picture is really creative. What does it mean?" She asked catching me off guard.
"I don't know." I looked down.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Well I love the mermaid."

"Thank you." I smiled.
I was thinking about everything I have to do. Tomorrow is the day my momma died. It's also the day my dad decided I wasn't worth staying for.
I have so much to pay and I don't even have the money. I wish Levi's dad was in his life so I could have just a little help, but no such luck.
One day I'll be able to give my son the world. When that day comes hopefully he knows the hell I went through to get us there.
The bell rung and everybody left. I had a free period next so I left and walked to work.

After I was at work for about an hour the bell chimed and I looked towards the door.
Bitch number 1 from the other day and her brother walked in.
