"You just been out of it since you seen yo momma."
"You know what? I forgot to get the blue plates for tomorrow." I changed the subject and grabbed my keys.
"I got em already." He grabbed my hand.
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. But you know im here right?"
I knodded.
"I'm tired" i sighed.
"Im tired too. You wanna lay down? We can take a nap together. I'll just tell Lamar wake us up when he get back wit Levi." He said and kissed my cheek.
I slowly made my way to the stairs with him following. There was a knock at the door when we got there.
I threw my head back and groaned.
"It's always somethin."
"I'll get it. Just go ahead and lay down. I'll be up in a minute." Deon said.
I listened and went to lay down.
A couple minutes later Deon came in and plopped on the bed next to me, then stared at me for a few seconds.
"You know i love you right?" He broke the silence.
I smiled.
"I love you too."
He cuddled up nex to me and we both eventually drifted to sleep.

"It's so nice to meet you." One of Deon's aunts hugged me.
"You too." I smiled kindly and pulled away holding my protruding belly.
"Deon you got a fine one this time, and you done trapped her with yo baby." I laughed as his cousin continued.
"When we was little you would neva be able to get her. Remember yo buck teeth and fro. Lets hope the baby look like her cuz yall gone be fucked if it end up like you" he finished causing me to laugh louder.
