"Deon you're not doing this cause she cheated right?" I whispered as he got closer to my face.
He shook his head and kissed me. As the kiss got deeper I straddled him and he grabbed my ass.
"KAREN GOT IN A WRECK!!!" Derrick yelled after bursting in the door.
"Oh shit I ain't know y'all was... we heading to the hospital Lamar kicked everybody out already." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
I got off Deon's lap and searched for my phone. I checked my messages and seen that she started texting that she was pregnant but the text got cut off.
"We comin." Deon said and pushed Derrick out the room.
I ran my fingers through my hair and tried not to cry. The lump in my throat hurt so bad.
"Uh we need to go." I choked out.
Deon nodded and got a hoodie out his closet. We ran downstairs and out to his car.
*********** (At the hospital)
We all sat in waiting room with our heads down. Deon held me close to him as I tried to hold my tears in.
"Family of Karen Smith." The doctor called out.
Karen's brother Kareem and Lamar stood up first. We all made our way to him.
"Karen is in a coma. She lost a lot of blood and she was six weeks pregnant. Unfortunately she lost the child. She doesn't look to be waking up anytime soon. I'm sorry." He said.
"Can we see her?" I choked out.
"Yes I show you to her room."
I looked up at Deon and he grabbed my hand. We followed the doctor to the back and we stopped at a door.
"She's stable for now so please stay calm while you're in there." The doctor said.
Everybody nodded and he opened the door. Karen was pale and her face was scratched up. I broke down in Deon's chest. He held me tight as I cried.
Lamar sat in one of the chairsnext to her bed and put his head in his hands. Kareem walked out and Derrick sat next to Lamar.
