"Stop touchin me." I looked back at the stove.
"Why you so mad all of a sudden?"
I sighed and faced him.
"I gotta tell you something." I looked down.
"Wassup?" Deon pulled me closer by my waist.
"I'm pregnant again."
"When did you find out?"
"Yesterday." I looked up to see his reaction.
He didn't look disappointed or happy.
"I'm sorry."I said out of habit.
"For what? We both knew the consequences."
"I know, but I'm scared I don't want to mess up their lives." I looked down again.
"You won't. I promise." He lifted my head and looked in my eyes.
I turned around and started cooking again. He stayed behind me and watched as I cooked.
"What college you was tryna go to?" He asked.
"Ummm I don't know. I applied to some just to see if I could get in but I'm about to have two kids. I can't just up and leave with them or without them. I'm just gonna have to settle for community college or something. Unless I get into EWC."
"What you wanna go to school for?"
"Psychology."
He nodded and we stood there like that until somebody knocked on the door.
He left to get it and within a few minutes he was arguing with someone. I decided to see why they were yelling and left the kitchen.
As I walked up behind him I realized it was Lauren and rolled my eyes. She looked at me and looked back at him.
