I woke up to Levi crying. It was distant but I still heard it. For a second everything seemed okay but I looked around and last night's events flooded my mind.
I wasn't in my clothes from the club and I wasn't in my own bed. All I remember is falling asleep in Deon's car.
I got out of the bed and made my way down stairs. The crying got louder and I heard somebody trying to shhh him.
The crying was coming from the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen and seen Deon trying to give Levi a bottle. He wouldn't take it and kept crying.

"He's teething." I said scaring Deon.
"Did he wake you up?"
"No. I woke up on my own. You got popsicles?" I asked and walked towards the fridge.
He nodded so I looked in the freezer and grabbed one.
I opened the package and walked towards him and Levi.
"Let me see him." I took him out of Deons arms and gave him the popsicle.
He calmed down and focused on eating it. I handed him back to Deon and sat down.
"You okay?" Deon asked and sat down with Levi in his lap.
"I have a headache and my throat hurts, but I'm fine. Thank you for helping me." I answered.
"You're welcome."
We sat in silence for a few seconds.
"Are you sure you're ok?" Deon asked.
"Yeah in fine. He didn't get far enough to hurt me. I mean he choked me but that was it."
"Do you know his name?"
"No. But I don't need it either. You don't plan on doing anything do you?" I asked.
"No."
"Good because Levi needs you to be there for him. Not somewhere in jail." I told him as Levi's popsicle dripped on his pants.
"You wanna see Levi's room?" He asked standing up.
I nodded and followed him as he showed me every room in the house.
