Word count! Yes, a very important topic, specifically when writing on wattpad.
I'm not sure if there is a limit to how many words you can have on a wattpad page, but you should set yourself a limit.
Me, personally, I try to keep each one of my parts under 800 words, but it depends on the book. My main stories, it's between 500 and 800 words, but for things like truth or dare, I try to stay in the 300-400 range.
Let's be honest here. It is a BIT annoying when you are reading a book on this site, and the part just goes ON and ON forever. You need to break it up a little bit. I like the shorter chapters, ones I can read between my classes at school.
I'd say, try to keep your part under 1,000 words. A little over is fine, but you're reaching a limit. It's also important not to make your part too short, unless it's deliberate, because your readers might get upset if they waited like two weeks for an update that's only a paragraph long.
But, that's just my opinion, as a writer and reader of wattpad. You do you.
