I find that music can be a HUGE source of inspiration, and a solution to writer's block.

Find songs that describe your characters. Why do they relate to them?

Find songs that fit perfectly in your story. Why do they fit? What makes them sync up so well?

Or just listen to music.

I have a whole playlist on YouTube dedicated to music that inspires me, or just provokes me to write something amazing because the song is amazing and I can't think of a way to describe how awesome it is.

Find music that hits you, and use it to your advantage.

Music videos can also be helpful. Some of them tell a story. What is it? Tell me the story.

Next time you need a writing prompt, go listen to your favorite song, watch the music video, and hopefully that will help you.

Or it'll just let you get lost in an amazing song for a few minutes. Either way, win win.

I'm gonna throw in a few songs I think are worth listening to for inspiration. I know everyone has a different taste in music, but these are just a bunch  I recommend. I won't put videos because I have too many suggestions.
