This may not seem like a big thing in writing, but OH. MY MOONS. I CANNOT tell you how many times it annoys the heck out of me when the wrong there is used.
So, if you have forgotten your elementary school grammar lessons, here's a refresher.
They're= they are.
Ex. They're our new neighbors.
Their= It belongs to them.
Ex. It's their book.
There= a location. Usually the place you're pointing at.
Ex. Where is it? It's over there.
Now let's try all three.
They're over there, next to their car.
Make sense?
Good.
Now REMEMBER TO USE THE CORRECT ONE!
