(A/n: Okay, so here's what happened. I had this whole chapter out and it was done. Then, I went to read my story to find any mistakes and stuff, when I came to this one and nothing was here! So, now I'm upset cause it took a long time. In fact, it had 1000+ words so like... 😫 Anyway, this might be bad and not as good as the first time I wrote it so I apolagize. Okay, enjoy?)
Thomas' POV
Third person
Thomas woke from a pleasant dream. It was about how he found the love of his life and they had a happy life. They had children, good jobs, a good house, just a good life. But then, his stupid alarm clock woke him up. It buzzed in his ear, making him punch the button to shut it up. When it continued to screech, he got up with a groan. "I'm up, I'm up." He looked at the time. "5?!" He yelled, trying to figure out why his alarm clock was set to that time. That's when he remembered that he wanted to go to that 50s diner down the street. He hadn't gone there in a few years, and he kinda missed it.
He got some clothes, (A green T-shirt and some blue jeans) and got into the shower. Most days for Thomas, he felt like they were normal, boring, a life he didn't really enjoy. It was like everyday he woke up and ate cereal, went to school, then went to his friend Minho's house and they did homework there and then they played video games. They did this until it was almost 10 and Thomas went home to an abusive father who would yell at him and slap him. That was what happened everyday for Thomas. Everyday. So that's why he decided to go to the diner for a change.
After he took the shower, he put the clothe he had picked out on, then kissed his mother goodbye and walked out the door. As expected, she was a little skeptical at first but let him go.
Ever since his dad started drinking and becoming abusive, she started worrying about where Thomas went. She started thinking he was doing bad things since she knew what his dad did to him.
The weather was a bit cold. A soft breeze running through Thomas' hair
