...~Chapter 20~...

(A/n: So I just wanted to say, that there might only be 1-2 chapters left of this story... I don't want to end it but I'm running out of ideas for it. But, it will end happily! Okay, I just wanted to say that but now I'll let you guys go to the story! Bye!)

(Time skip to a few weeks)

(A/n: This is gonna be a bad chapter... Sorry! The first part is basically what's happened over the months?)

Thomas and Newt both hadn't heard from Teresa since the whole incident, and they are both glad for that. They have been dating happily for 5 months now. (150 days) And they both hope they don't break up. Ever. Both Newt and Thomas are happy to say they love each other. Sure it's a little weird that Thomas is in high school and Newt's in college, but they're only 2 years apart so it's not bad. Thomas is about to graduate from high school and Newt has one more year of college. They both have jobs that help pay the bills and they could even move out, but they choose not to. They hang with Minho every weekend, and he hasn't gotten drunk since the incident, at least they hope.

(Present Time)

"Hey Tommy, do you know when your graduation date is?" Newt asks as they were snuggling on the couch and watching high school musical. "Oh, it should be this Saturday!" Thomas says excitedly. He couldn't wait for high school to be over. Newt was soon to go into his last year of college and they were both happy for the other. "That's great Tommy! I'm not even gonna ask if you're excited cause it's all you talk about!" Newt laughs and Thomas rolls his eyes. "Yeah well, I'm sure you were too when you were coming out of high school. Those are hard 4 years." Thomas says, cuddling closer to Newt. "Now shush. I'm trying to watch the movie!" Thomas says and Newt shuts up.

Once "We're all in this together" comes on, Thomas is up and pulling Newt with him to dance along with them.

"No, Tommy! I don't know the dance!" Newt complains.

"I'll teach you!" Thomas laughs and starts moving his hands and feet and spinning around like in the movie. "Ah!" Newt yells as he trips over his feet but Thomas catches him. "Oh god, Newt! You're good at romantic dancing, but when it comes to fun dancing, you're terrible!" Thomas laughed was Newt rolled his eyes with a huff. "Well, sorry," he says but still tries to dance along with them. (Which was surprisingly hard for him)

After the few minutes of dancing, they laid back down on the couch. Thomas was still laughing, but Newt was panting.

"Can we never do that again?" Newt asks and Thomas sighs. "Fine.." They both laugh softly but the room soon goes quiet.

Newt gets up from the couch with a grunt. "Here," he holds out his hand. "Let's go on a walk." Thomas smiles and takes his hand. "Okay, let me get my shoes on." Newt smiles as Thomas goes to the bedroom to grab his shoes. Newt had a plan. This was it. Today was the day.

Thomas comes back a few minutes later, newt already having his white sneakers on. "Ready?" Newt asks. Thomas nods and he walks out the door.

"Oh! Wait! I need to grab something really quick!" Newt says and runs back into their room and grabbed a small blue box from his nightstand. he quickly hides it in the inside pocket of his jacket.

He runs back to Thomas and takes his hand. "Alright, now we can go now." Thomas nods and they start walking down the hall.

"Any reason you wanted to take a walk? We just never do it so..." Thomas asks as they walk around the lake. "Well, I mean, why not? It's a nice day." Newt says, hoping he doesn't accidentally let something out. "Well, Newt, it's like 20 degrees here," Thomas says as if it's obvious. "Well, it's still nice out?" Newt says in more of a question then a statement. Thomas laughed, making Newt's heartbeat go 20 times faster.

They walk around the park for 20 more minutes until it starts to get dark.

"Hey Newt, maybe we should head home? It's getting a little late..." Thomas says as he tries to warm up his hands for the 20th time in 5 minutes. "Oh, okay. Just... can we talk about something really quick?" Newt asks, his voice shaking. This gets Thomas scared. What if Newt wants to break up with him? What did he do wrong?

Newt takes Thomas' hand "Tommy, I know we may be a bit of a weird couple, considering that you're a high schooler and I'm a college student, but that doesn't change how I feel about you. I know we've only been dating for a few months, but I feel like I've known you for... forever. I want you to know how much I love you and your personality and how much I love waking up in the morning to your face, Tommy I love everything about you. Flaws and all! So, I wanted to make it completely clear that you know how much I love you by..." he gets on one knee, still holding Thomas' hand and reaches into his pocket. "I want you to know how much I love you by giving you this ring..." He opens the blue box, revealing a pair of rings. Both gold. "These aren't engagement rings, they're promise rings. Because I promise that I'll never stop loving you." Thomas was close to tears, he was so happy.

"Oh, Newt! I love you too!" He smiled and hugged him. "So... Is that a yes for the promise?" Newt asks, and Thomas smiles wide. "Yes! Yes!" Newt smiles and pulls Thomas in a passionate kiss. 

"Hey, Newt?" Thomas asks as they break away. "Yes, Tommy?" newt answers. "Can we go home, I'm a little cold..." Newt laughs, his hot breath hitting Thomas' face. "Sure," they get up and start to head back to their apartment, their hands intertwined with both gold rings on.

It's another Newtmas story if you're wondering. I hope you guys enjoyed this story! It's coming to an end, and I've been doing lots of time skips cause I'm lazy and I kinda want to get the story over so I can work more on the other one... Sorry!
