~The diner~

...~Chapter 10~...

Thomas' POV

April 15

(Time skip to after school)

(A/n So I wanted to thank @rdr132 for letting me know about a mistake that I made. I went and fixed it and made it Chuck so just in case that confused you guys too. Okay, that's all! Hope you enjoy reading this chapter!)

"Okay, so what I was thinking we could do is we could work on our homework together then we can invite Newt?"Minho asked on our way home. The school was boring if you're asking. Just the same, old, boring teachers, same, old homework, same, old loneliness, same, old, boring everything. And just like every other kid, I hated it. I just wanted the end of the day to come so I could go to Minho's and I could see Newt outside of the diner. I can learn the real Newt and not the one who has to put on a fake smile. "Yo, Thomas does that sound good?" Minho asked, waving his hand in my face. "What? Oh, uh, yeah sure. That sounds good." I said and looked off to the side. "Hey, what's wrong?" He said, looking at me with a worried face. Again, I have never seen him do that. "Yeah, I'm just deep in thought." I lied. To be honest, I was pretty scared that Newt was some sort of drug addict dude that somehow made me fall for him. I didn't tell Minho of course, for I don't know what he would make. Make fun of me probably. 

After 5 minutes, we arrived at Minho's house. It was small but nice. At least enough to fit Minho and his parents. (A/n It's just the description from the last chapter) I hadn't been here in a while. After Minho and I stopped hanging out, I stopped coming over. Even if I hadn't been here for at least 2 years, I remembered where everything was like the back of my hand. We walked up to the front porch and Minho got out his keys but noticed that the door was already opened. "What?" Minho whispered. We opened the door and we were greeted by Minho's parents running around their house. "Mom, Dad, what's going on?" Minho asked once we got into the living room. His mother, Callie, stopped running and looked at Minho. "Oh! We forgot to tell you, but your father and I are going on a business trip to Brazil and we'll be gone for at least a week. So you can have the house all to yourself!"She said and Minho punched the air. "But there are some rules. First things first, No. Parties. And you can only have 2 friends over. And that's it." She said with a smile, then she turned to me. "Thomas! Oh, my lord, we haven't seen you around here in a while! How's it going?" She asked, walking up to me and smiling. She extended her arms and pulled me into a hug. "I'm doing really good Mrs. Green," I said hugging her back. She laughed and pulled away. "Thomas, we've gone over this, you can call me Callie!" She smiled from ear to ear. I nodded. "Alright boys, well, your father and I have to go so you boys have fun! HARROLD! COME ON! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" she yelled up the stairs. We heard loud footsteps coming down the stairs, then seeing Minho's father, Harold. "Hello, Minmin! Who's your- Thomas!  Wow! I haven't seen you in a few years! How's it been?!" He asked with the same, warm smile as Callie. I smiled back, "I'm doing good," he nodded and walked over to the door. "Well, we gotta go boys! Minho, I'm sure your mother has already explained the rules." Minho nodded. "Alright, well, good-bye Minho and Thomas! We hope to see you around more often!" Callie said, then closed the door. "Well, that just happened," I said and Minho nodded. "Okay, enough chit-chat. We've got homework to do!" Minho says and runs into a room. Is he always this excited about homework?

After a few hours of homework, breaks, movies, and food, we had finished our homework. "Okay, time to get Newt," Minho says pulling out his phone. I nodded and blushed. Wow, I'm finally gonna hang with Newt outside of the diner! AH!

After a few minutes of waiting, Minho got a reply from Newt. 

Newt: Uh, sure. Though, I don't have your address

Minho: Right! I'll send it to you

Minho: 1736, Bluewood road

Newt: Thanks

I honestly couldn't believe it. Was this really happening? "Yes, Thomas. This really is happening." Minho said with a smirk. I was confused, how did he know what I was thinking? "Minho, you're weird," I say, walking past him and back into the living room. "He should be over in-," he was cut off by someone ringing the doorbell. "That must be him, just wait here," and he then ran over to the door. I let out a soft chuckle. 

I stayed there for a few minutes, listening to the familiar British accent. I wanted to run up to him and hug him and kiss him and- No, Thomas. You need to stop thinking like that. He has a girlfriend.

Then, I heard a laugh that was like music to my ears. It was a sweet laugh that just made me smile. I knew it wasn't Minho's, for he sounded like a dying cat. The laugh I heard was Newts. I could listen to it all day. Honestly, I wish I was the one who he was laughing with. Finally, I got up from my seat and put on a straight face and walked up to Minho and Newt. 

"What are you guys laughing about?" I asked as I walk up to them. Newt stops laughed and turns to me. We stare into each other's eyes for what felt like a long time but had to have been less than 10 seconds. "Nice to see you again Tommy. Do you mind me calling you Tommy?" he asks hesitantly. I blush and smile at him, "No, I don't mind." And again, we stared into each other's eyes. His eyes were absolutely gorgeous. I could stare at them forever.  Sadly, our sweet little moment was then ruined by the one and only, Minho. "Yo, guys, stop having strange gay stares and come with me into the living room." And he walked away, brushing past us. We both looked away blushing. "M-maybe we should follow Minho?" I stutter. God! I hate my stuttering! "Y-yeah," he says, and blushes too. We start to walk down the hall, our hands brushing against each other often.

YAY! A new chapter! I know I haven't updated in a while but... um... I'm sorry. I'm going on a trip so I might not be able to get a lot of chapters out but after my trip... SUMMER!!! YAY! Also, should I make a High School Musical NEwtmas AU? I'm kind of obsessed with it and I think it would be cool! So, let me know if I should. Okay, I love you all my lovely, little turtles!
