Newt's POV

(3rd Person)

Unedited

(A/n: So, I forgot to add it, but Newt gave Thomas some warm clothes. So, let's all pretend that Newt gave Thomas a cute, oversized, light yellow sweater and some cute sweatpants. Okay? Okay. Oh, and Newt almost died of an anime nose bleed because of how cute he was. And, Thor was also there... Ugh, this story is a mess! AH! Okay bye!)

Newt had another restless night, even if he was with Thomas. He wasn't sure why he actually went to sleep that one time, but he doesn't think it will happen again. He saw Thomas jolt up, then turn to him and shake his arm. "Newt! We're gonna be late! Well, I'm gonna be late, but wake up!" Newt jolted up, acting like he was asleep. One thing he didn't tell Thomas the night before was that  he had Insomnia, that was something he hasn't really told anyone. He jolted up so fast that his lips and Thomas' brushed together, but they both pulled away, causing Thomas to fall off the couch. "Oh. Em. Gosh! (A/n: Book Of Mormon reference? Anyone?)I'm so sorry Newt!" Thomas said, getting off the floor and brushing himself off. Newt was blushing, that felt... nice. Even if they hadn't fully kissed, or that it was just an accident, it felt amazing to Newt.  Newt laughed, "It's alright, Tommy. It was just an accident. It meant nothing, right?" Thomas looked down. "Yeah, it meant nothing. Just an accident..." His voice sounded hurt. "You okay, Tommy?" Newt asked. Thomas looked up at Newt with a clearly fake smile. "Oh yeah! I'm fine! Anyway, we really should get ready to go. You don't mind driving me to school right?" Newt nodded and they both got up to get ready.

After Newt got ready, he heard Thomas awkwardly shuffle in to the room. "Hey Newt? I know it's a lot to ask, but can I borrow some of your clothes... some that might fit me?" He plays with the ends of his sleeves, which was just so gosh darn cute. Newt smiled. "I'll see what I can find." Thomas smiled and left the room to sit on the couch. Once he left, Newt started to search for anything that might fit Thomas.

After a few minutes of searching, Newt found some small clothes that looked about Thomas' size. It was a plain, white t-shirt with some ripped blue jeans. "Found you something Tommy," Newt said as he walked out of his room and saw Thomas on the couch looking at a few painting Newt had drawn. "Here you go," he placed the clothes in front of Thomas on the coffee table. "Did you draw these, Newt?" Thomas asked, pointing to them. Newt nodded, "Yeah, I did, but they're not that good." Thomas turned to Newt with wide eyes. "Don't say that! They're lovely! I love your styles! Oh, and my favorite has to be that one with galaxy and the pine trees! Though, they all look amazing!" Newt blushed, no one has ever said anything that nice about his paintings. Only ever "That's pretty good," Or "You're pretty good at painting," but nothing as to what Thomas had said. "Thanks, Tommy," Newt smiled and Thomas smiled back at him.

They looked into each other's eyes for what felt like forever but must've been no longer then 30 seconds. But, they stared. Newt found Thomas' eyes so beautiful. Like a thousand stars that could bright up anyone's day. They sure bright up Newt's.

"So, er, the clothes are right there for you, Tommy." Newt said and pointed to the clothes, also breaking eye contact with Thomas. "Right, thanks Newt. You really have done a lot for me today... and yesterday," Thomas said and Newt smiled. "Of course Tommy. Now, I'm gonna make us a quick breakfast while you get dressed." Thomas nodded, grabbed the clothes, then left to the bathroom to get changed.

Newt walked into his kitchen and grabbed some waffles. He wanted to make something better but they didn't have time. So, he put the waffles into the toaster and grabbed some syrup, powder sugar, fruit, etc. While waiting for the waffles to cook, he turned on some music. He turned on "Footloose" By Kenny Loggins. He played it loud, dancing and singing along with the music. After a minute, he heard Thomas walk into the kitchen. He turned around and held out his hand. "Come on, Tommy! Dance with me!" Thomas took his hand and they began dancing together in the kitchen, listening to the cheesy 80s music. They laughed together and Newt continued to sing the song. If Newt was being honest, he was really enjoying having Thomas around. He made him happy. And... maybe- no. They had only know each other for 3 days. But, what's not to love about Thomas?
