Newt's POV
(Third person)

After the little fight he had with Thomas and Minho, he was really feeling mad. Not at them, but at himself. Of course, Thomas could take it. Maybe he was just trying to protect him? Newt wasn't sure but Minho is his friend and Thomas should know what's been... happening.

Newt sat on the balcony, petting Thor who was asleep on his lap. Images of him and Thomas up here in his mind. Now, he may never get Thomas back. Tommy...

Even if Thomas had only left at least 2 hours ago, Newt was missing him and realizing how much of a jerk he was. How could he apologize to Thomas? A simple "I'm sorry" Wouldn't do. Could he ask him on a date? No, the last thing Thomas would want would be to go on a date with someone like Newt. A jerk who thinks he's still a child. Flowers? No. Food? No!

Newt was losing ideas. What was he supposed to give Thomas? What could Thomas want? What could Newt do to make it up to Thomas? He couldn't really ask for advice from anyone, he doesn't have anyone.

He was deep in thought, looking up at the stars and remembering the times he spent with Thomas. A small tear slowly rolled down his cheek, but he was quick to wipe it away. If he let it go all the way, more would come and they wouldn't be able to stop. He knew he would cry about every little thing that caused him pain in his life. But it was so hard to keep things to himself sometimes, and especially with Thomas. Thomas just seemed easy to talk to, no matter how hard it was to say.

He stays out there until he hears a soft knock at the door. Newt rubs his eyes and yawns, then walks over to the door. He opens it to reveal...

"Tommy?"

"Hey..." Thomas looks down, then starts crying again and jumping into Newt's arms, wrapping his arms around Newt's neck. Newt was shocked at first but wrapped his arms around Thomas' waist.

"Is everything alright, Love?" He whispers and Thomas shakes his head. "No, I'm s-sorry. I o-overreacted..." He starts to calm down but he still hiccups. "Oh Tommy, you shouldn't be apologizing! It should be me! I was the jerk! YOu're right, you aren't a child and I'm sorry for making you think that..." They hugged for 4 minutes, not wanting to leave each other again. "Here, let's get in the house..." Newt whispered. Thomas nodded and they walked in and sat on the couch.

"Tommy, it's almost 12, where were you?" Newt says while hugging Thomas again and feeling how cold he was. "I was just walking around, I needed to clear my head..." Newt nods and they don't speak for a few minutes. Newt was getting tired of it. "Hey, Tommy?" He asks, Thomas hums a "Yes?"

"Up for a dance?"

Thomas looks at Newt, smiles, then stands up and drags Newt up too. "I'd love to." Newt smiles, happy Thomas wasn't too mad at him.

Newt shuffled his playlist, having "Dancing Queen" By "Abba" Play first. They danced around the living room, just like they used to. Only this time, they didn't take their eyes off the other. It was true, they both were in love and they didn't want to deny it.

They continued dancing to upbeat music until a slow song came on. "La Vie En Rose" By "Louis Armstrong". They looked at each other and Newt smiled, going up to Thomas and taking his hand.

"May I have this dance?" He asked, bowing and kissing Thomas' hand. He looked up and saw Thomas turn a bright red. "Y-You may," He stuttered. God is he cute.

They slow danced together around the living, happy that they had made up. Newt looked into Thomas' eyes, staring deep into them. That's when Newt slowly moved closer, Thomas soon doing the same. They were getting closer, and closer to each other until the only way to have no space, was for their lips to meet.

Newt felt Thomas' soft breathing on his face as they danced around the room softly. Both their chests against the others, feeling their uneven breaths from the close contact. Everything was perfect, except for one thing. Newt slowly leaned in the last bit, stopping once he was brushing his lips with Thomas'. He stopped, thinking Thomas would want to pull away but was surprised when he did something else, something much, much better then what he thought.

Thomas finally closed the gap between the too. Newt's lips were chapt and Thomas' was soft, but neither cared. What mattered at the moment was that this was happening. They really were kissing. And it felt amazing.

It wasn't exactly perfect, it being Thomas' first kiss, but Newt didn't care. He just wanted to be there with Thomas, forever but knew he couldn't because they had to breath. The pulled apart, only to take a deep breath and dive into the kiss again. This one was more under control. No teeth clashing together and no accidentally bumping heads. This one was perfect, not the same as their first kiss, but still perfect.

They pulled away again and rested their foreheads together. "Finally," Thomas breathed, causing Newt to laugh softly. They swayed to the music a bit longer until they both got tired and fell asleep on the couch in each other's arms.
