The next day

~~~~~~~~~~
I got out of bed with a big smile on my face.
One word.
Mason.
He wasn't bold, or dashing...But that's really okay with me. I get to be his knight in shinning armor. He's just really cute in a nerdy way, and since y dad is really good friends with our school principal, I may or may not have convinced him to move Mason into my biology class. Principal O'Connor is a huge LGTB supporter and almost jumped at my request. Hopefully he would be at school today, and I really wanted to talk to him. Truth is, I think I like him. A lot...more than I should.
I sat up in bed, and stretched my arms, thinking about yesterday, when I brought him home. He was severely beaten by someone, and I was terrified. Who would do that to someone? Last thing, and was probably the cause of him being hurt was something that made me happy. They wrote FAGGOT on his head in marker, and it made me happy because it made me think, maybe I might have a chance with him. But it also made me mad, and when I find who did that, I'm going to smash their head in! Looking at the clock, it read 5:35. I guess I can start getting ready for school. I stretched once more, and them pushed my green and black checkered bed sheets off me. I planted both feet on the ground and stood up.
I grabbed a white towel with red and blue strips on it, and set it on the toilet seat. I pushed back the pale blue shower curtain, and turned on the water. I waited a couple of minutes for it to heat up. When it was hot, I stripped off my clothes and hopped in.
After about 10 minutes, I jumped put and turned the water off. I picked up the towel and dryad myself off. Looking in the mirror, I admired my abs, and flexed a couple of times. Laughing at how narcissistic I was being, I walked out of the bathroom, and back to my room.
What should I wear today? I thought as I walked into my closet? Well, what do you wear when you tell someone that you dragged them out of a pool bathroom, drove them home, and to top it all off, them being unconscious the whole time? Wait, what if he asks how I knew where he lived? I can't tell him I've followed him home a couple of times...oh well, just minus that part out...
I walked over to my IHome, and turned on some music. Maybe that will help me decide...
I walked across my room and turned on my phone. Scrolling through the songs, I stumbled on one of my all time favorite songs, Wasted by Tiesto. Pressing play, the sing blared on my speakers-
I like us better when were wasted,
It makes it easier to fake it,
The only time we really talk,
Is when our clothes are coming off,
I like us better when were wasted,
It makes it easier to say it,
Lay all your laundry on the bed,
And then I'll lay in it instead,
I like us better when were wasted
As the song played, I returned to my task of finding an outfit. I decided on a grey sweatshirt and tan jeans.
I walked over to and grabbed my phone off my IHome and walked out of my room.
In the kitchen my mom was frying bacon. Hell yeah! I walked into the room, inhaling the scent if the bacon. My dad was sitting at the table reading the newspaper, drinking his coffee.
"Morning," I said while waking over to the plate of bacon. My dad looked up from his paper and said,"Morning son."
"So dad what are you still doing here?" I just wondered because he's normally gone already, for work.
"Oh, my morning meeting was canceled for today, so I have this morning off," he said while taking another sip of his coffee.
Nodding, I stuffed my face with three pieces in my mouth. I grabbed the glass of orange juice my mom poured for me, and started to drink.
"Why are you leaving so early? You normally dot leave for another 15 minutes?" my dad asked.
"Oh it's probably about that boy he drive home from the pool yesterday," my mom said nonchalantly. I choked loudly in the orange juice.
My mom and dad both burst out laughing and sang,"Joshie has a crush, Joshie has a crushhhh." Embarrassed, I grabbed my backpack and car keys and left, slamming the front door hard.
My mom opened the door and yelled,"Don't worry Josh! I think the boy was very cute!" she winked at the end and went back inside.
Ugh mommmm stopppp!
I could still hear them giggling as I drove to school. My parents are supper cool, but they enjoy picking on me. Oh well I guess it was kind of funny.
