The bell rang, signalling break time. He stepped out of class to head to his usual place, where he would sit by himself to spend almost the whole break with his one and only passion. He was a daydreamer, his mind was full of colours and illustrations bound by his feelings for no one but you. Just you. But these feelings were never acknowledged by anyone but two. The boy himself and his loyal companion. His comics.

Renjun was not one of those famous comic illustrators who could spend days creating new ideas and improving his skills, imagination and creativity-wise. He was just considered a normal highschool boy, in his own world, his long-time crush towards you kept as stories in his decent comics. Imaginary dates, sweet conversations, hang outs at ice cream shops and authentic cafés, hand-in-hand walks, everything was in there, but just for the eyes of Renjun's.

It would be a fact unknown to Renjun only a little while after later, for a piece of his wonderful creations will be bared to the eyes of a certain person.

The bell rang half an hour later, Renjun was finishing his last piece of his comic strip before he gathered the papers into his file and got up, wiping the beads of sweat on his forehead. He made his way back in the building of the school, eyes fixed in his file to check if there were any papers left behind. Having not focused the sight in front of him, only a few seconds later, he bumped into someone, dropping his file making his comic strips scattered everywhere.

Renjun quickly dropped to his knees, gathering them all back together. From the corner of his eye, the other had joined him in too, helping the Chinese boy taking his papers.

"Ah- You don't have to help-" When he looked up, his brain had finally computed who was right in front of his eyes. It was you. His face was on fire, he quickly took his papers from your hands and gathered them messily in his arms before standing up, "Sorry, I'm late for class, thanks, see ya later!" he said in a rush before almost sprinting down the corridor in shame.

"Wait! Wait! You forgot-!" you tried calling for Renjun, but he was gone and out of sight already by then.
"-another piece of your paper," you finished anyways. Sighing, you tucked the piece of paper in your book before continuing to make your way to your own class.

When school was over, Renjun was long gone, having already headed back home. He was too embarassed to face you anyway, so by the time your last class had ended, you failed to find him.

When the night came, you sat on your study table, flipping the pages of your book to study for a short while. But a paper was stuck out, it was part of the comic strip Renjun had left behind. You were dying to read what was on it, but you knew that it was bad to invade someone's privacy. Alas, curiosity had beaten you as you took the paper in your hands, first admiring the detailed illustrations made by him. Literally everything was drawn out perfectly, it was a scene taken at a beautiful garden, and there was a male character and- the other character was still unfinished, but you could easily guess it was a girl.

Both of them seemed to be facing each other, both hands intertwined while eyes locked upon one another. The male character first spoke through written words, 'I'll always love you,-' you stopped, eyes on the name. The name, it was too familiar, it was definitely spelled correctly, this name,.. no one was born with this name except for..

You.

'I'll always love you, _________,'

"Hey!" you stopped him during recess. He was making his way outside of the school building, on the way to his usual spot. "You.. you're Renjun? Right?"

Renjun turned around to see you. His face brightened in a light shade of red when seeing you. "Yeah.. what's up?"

"You dropped this yesterday. I'm sorry I didn't have the time to give it to you yesterday instead," you smiled and handed him the paper before waving, heading to the opposite side. "I'm off to the canteen area. See ya! I like your art style!" you complimented him before hurrying off.

Possibly all the red around the world came flooding to Renjun's face after braining your last words to him. That meant you had seen his drawings! He took a look at his paper, mentally face-palming himself when he knew it was the scene in the garden, does it have to be that one? Renjun walked towards the tree and slumped down, his dignity was forever gone by then. But then he was finally aware that the girl in the paper was drawn differently. It was definitely not his style of drawing. It was someone else's.

Though the girl was completely drawn, the style was a bit messy, but not bad overall. A speech bubble was added to the side of her, saying, 'You're so sweet, Renjun,'

A p/s note was written at the bottom of the paper. 'It's still too early for me to reply to those three words, right? Haha. I would love to see more of your drawings. Let's get to know more of each other, Renjun :) love, ________,'

A smile made its way across the Chinese boy's lips, he couldn't contain his happiness much long, he fist bumped the air, proud to have caught your attention by a simple sketch of his comic strip

A smile made its way across the Chinese boy's lips, he couldn't contain his happiness much long, he fist bumped the air, proud to have caught your attention by a simple sketch of his comic strip. He had an idea and quickly searched for a certain comic strip in his file.

When recess was over, you made your way to your locker to grab your books for the next class. The moment you opened it, a paper fell out, someone had slipped it in your locker before through the hole. You read it, the date written on it told you that it had been drawn over a year ago. It was another comic strip of Renjun's, which made you smile.

The boy in the paper- Renjun- you assumed, was confronting the girl which you had finally guessed it was you. The setting was under a tree, the spot Renjun loved so much. The boy drawn seemed to be a nervous wrecking train, having troubled forming words at first but finally voiced them out :

'My sunshine, _________, will you go out with me?'
